| isn't the title supposed to be "my path" and not the path i walk (僕が歩く道)?

Personally, I'd go for a more metaphoric translation like:
The Road beneath my Feet
or
The Path I Traveled
but I'm just being melodramatic or something..._________________ Jdrama Chinese fansub index 2006 | 2007

"My Path" is acceptable too. IMO there's no definitive way to translate something, but I hope you can see the merits of "The Path I Walk" once I've explained how I arrived at it.
First of all, as I understand it, the grammatical construction subject no verb-noun is equivalent to subject ga verb-noun. It would be strange if it wasn't, because then the verb aruku "to walk" is left hanging, with no subject doing the walking
Second, I wanted to retain aruku somewhere in the title, just as ikiru "to live" is present in "The Way I Live."
Third, the problem with simply naming it "The Way I Walk" is, it may be misread as "my method/technique of walking." That doesn't really describe the drama's contents, and more importantly, it sounds incredibly dull. That's why I chose "path" over "way."
As a side note, having watched and subbed two episodes so far, I don't see how the title applies except in a very rough, metaphorical sense. It was clear enough what ikiru in the first two Boku series referred to: (1) how Hideo spends his last days, (2) how Tetsuro relates to his daughter and the teacher. But Teruaki? Hmm. We'll have to wait and see.
