Scene - the present
Nino (on the phone):
"Hey, where--what? Oh, okay...alright then."
(to everyone)
"He's coming."

Jun (voice):
"Oh yeah?"

Music starts. As Sho approaches the building scene changes to the past (their memory).

空を飛べそうなくらい　勢いをつけてまわった
omoikiri funzuketa pedaru wa marude
sora wo tobesounakurai ikioi wo tsukete mawatta
the pedal I stepped on spun forcefully

that we seemed to have used too many pretty colors

paretto ni hiroge mou ichido asu wo egakou
so let's paint tomorrow again,
using the colors of lameness and broken dreams on our palette.

川反りずっと下って　立ち入り禁止の
柵を超え　河川敷の先までペダルをこいだ
kawazori zutto kudatte tachiiri kinshi no
saku wo koe kasenshiki no saki made pedaru wo koida
following the riverbend to its tip
I pedaled through the fence with the "no entrance" sign

自転車を投げ捨てて　見上げた空
鮮やかなその色は　心から消えないのに
jitensha wo nagesutete miageta sora
azayakana sono iro wa kokoro kara kienai no ni
throwing down the bicycle I looked up at the sky
the vivid color will never leave my heart

Scene - the present
Aiba :
"So in the end it's only us guys."
Nino :
"Yeah. I guess they're lives are too busy."
Ohno :
"I'm busy too! Yesterday I didn't sleep because I was watching soccer, and the other day I was playing a game..."
Sho :
"...That's what you would call not busy!"
Ohno :
"...No it's not!"
(All laugh, scene changes to memory again)

あの時の君の笑顔　思い出そうとしても
なんかうまくいかなくて　いつも途切れてしまう
ano toki no kimi no egao omoidasou to shitemo
nanka umaku ikanakute itsumo togirete shimau
I try to remember how you smiled back then
but without any luck, it's always breaks off

悲しいページなんて　無かった事にしようとして
ぼくらはいくつも　色を重ねてしまった
kanashii peeji nante nakatta koto ni shiyouto shite
bokura wa ikutsumo iro wo kasanete shimatta
as if the sad pages never existed
we painted many colors over them

きっと塗りすぎた色って　白に戻れないけど
それでいい　新しい色で明日を描こう
kitto nurisugita irotte shiro ni modorenai kedo
soredeii atarashii iro de asu wo egakou
a page with so many colors will probably never be white again
but that's okay, let's paint tomorrow with a brand-new color

Sho (mouthes):
"What's wrong?"
Girl :
"..." (this part is left up to the imagination.)
Sho :
"...I'm sorry."

Nino (voice):
"Did you guys ever do it again?"
Sho :
"...Huh?"
Nino :
"Fireworks! We lit sparklers at the barbecue, remember?"

"No way, that's so not sexy!" (He means lighting sparklers with a group of guys...it's implied when spoken in Japanese, but in literal translation it might puzzle some people.)

Nino :
"...What's wrong?"

Sho :
"...Nothing."
(to everyone)
"Shall we?"

Everyone :
"Let's do it!"

Jun :
"...Seriously?"

Everyone :
"Of course."

Nino :
"Alright then, someone go get the fireworks!"

Everyone:
"...Rock, paper scissors!"

Nino's an amazing director. Even though Aiba was the one who was saying he wanted to make a film. pinch

And I'm glad Sho had a solo part in this song. <3
