Sorry to disappoint, but the latest news about this is that Hyun Bin has turned down this role.

내 이름은 김삼순 (My Lovely Sam-Soon) might have brought fame to Hyun Bin, but he doesn't necessarily want to repeat the same role over and over... which explains the latest development concerning the new Kim Do-Woo (the writer of My Lovely Sam-Soon) Drama 여우야 뭐하니 (What's Up Fox?). The young star received a synopsis months ago, but decided not to star in the Drama as the role was too similar to Sam-Shik in the super-hit of 2005. Now the show, which was supposed to start broadcasting in September, will have to go through casting once again, and might be delayed. Hyun Bin is still under contract with MBC for one Drama, so we'll see him star in one of their shows sooner or later. Actually there were rumours about this show going beyond the simple casting, rumours putting the blame on the station -- who wanted another Kim Sam-Soon, whereas writer Kim wanted to do something closer to her past work 눈사람 (Snowman), more melodrama than romantic comedy. But we'll have to see how this turns out.

Any news on Jae Hee's upcoming drama "I Don't love you"? Is it still going to air? I really hope so, I miss seeing Jae Hee on the screen.
Thats too bad Hyun Bin turned down the role. I really would like to see him be sort or like his character on Kim Samsoon, I didn't really like his character in the Millionare's First love. Hopefully they'll find another good actor, like Lee Jun Ki....

Good news! Lee Da Hae (My Girl, Green Rose) has been casted as the female lead in Speed, joining Lee Seo Jin (Bool Sae, Damo) and Kim Myung Min (Bad Family, The Immortal Lee Soon-Shin).
KBS' racing blockbuster Drama 스피드 (Speed) just got a little faster. The Drama, which will broadcast in the Mon/Tue spot from January 2007, just cast Lee Da-Hae of 마이걸 (My Girl), who will work with male lead Lee Seo-Jin. The 12 Billion Won Drama, produced by Jin Hyung-Wook and written by Ma Jin-Won, marks the first co-production between Korea and Turkey. Story features Lee Seo-Jin as Yi-Soo, a car racer who smuggled himself into Turkey; Lee Da-Hae will play sexy shrink Ji-Won, and closing the 삼각관계 (love triangle) will be a 2nd Generation Chaebol who also happens to be a racer (Kim Myung-Min). Speed starts shooting from mid-August in Turkey. [Hankyoreh - 7/4]

I may be wrong but I think that we may be confusing "I Don't... Love You" (사랑하지...않아) with Jae Hee's movie "Art of Fighting" that was released earlier this year. Choi Yeo Jin also starred in the movie with him and it was about fighting too. His latest project is the horror movie "Untold Story: The Red Forest" with Park Shin Hye that should be released in theaters very soon.
And regarding the role that Hyun Bin turned down in "What's Up Fox?" Chun Jung Myung (Goodbye Solo, Fashion 70's) was casted instead with female lead, Go Hyun Jung (A Spring Day, The Sandglass) and it will begin airing on Sept. 20 on MBC.
Hyun Bin has been casted to be the leading actor of the KBS drama series "Noon Eui Yeo Wang (Queen of Snow)" which is scheduled to air this coming November. "Noon Eui Yeo Wang (Queen of Snow)" is a sad fairy-tale like love story about a genius boxer fighting against a terminal disease and a daughter of a wealthy family that meet and fill each other's hearts. The female lead is yet to be casted. I heard the team of writers for this new drama were actually part of the team of writers for "Winter Sonata" and this drama will be produced and directed by the PD of "I'm Sorry, I Love You". I guess this will be a drama that's highly anticipated.
Lastly, I'm glad of Ha Ji Won's return to the small screen in over 2 years, after 2004's 발리에서 생긴일 "What Happened in Bali". She stars in "Hwang Jin-Yi" that is based on the life of the famous concubine in the Joseon Dynasty and it is scheduled to air on KBS sometime in October. The show will be a sort of mix between "Memoirs of a Geisha" and 여인천하 "Ladies of the Palace", with several gisaeng fighting for power. It should be interesting.

There's no official word released from the production team but it's most likely true. I hope it works out though.
