This took a bit long because a lot of parts had to be retimed or were originally left untimed (I think my timers got confused when a line of translation went missing....) and.....sorry...I took a long break....hahaha....

hmmm....not a very good cap for subtitles, but I loved how Gino was holding that teddy bear while he spoke to Xiao Shi.

I forgot if there was anything that needed to be clarified. Oh well, just leave a message if there were anything that needed further explanation Roll Eyes

This is when Xiao Shi's family starts doing their "cheering" dance for her, wishing her the best at the marathon race. They were actually singing Alex To's song, "Tou Diao" (Take it off). The lyrics goes like this:

That's why Xiao Shi was so embarrassed when her family cheered for her on the day of the race. Before the race started, a reporter commented how Ding Feng seems to be a very open school. The reporter's comment was referring to how the school allowed Xiao Shi's family to "cheer". FYI, the song was banned in China.

Regarding to the questions asked on the previous page....
sigh....all our sub fans should know this already, so please say it with me:

How long does it take to translate an episode?
weeks to MONTHS!!

How long does it take to time an episode?
weeks to MONTHS!!

So how long does it take to QC an episode?

Different fansubbing groups may be organizing their subbing processes differently. Some subbing groups may have QC'ers for only doing final checks on spelling and grammar. However, any QC'ers that are QC'ing in projects under my coordination must know how to fill in missing translations, correct miss-translated lines, and fix awkward phrases as best as possible. To state the obvious, the QC'ers who are helping out in this project are fluent in both Chinese and English Wub

And just in case you're wondering, yes, the timing is also checked.

it's such a pity you have to post this kind of explanation Fufu, because people just should be grateful for the amazing work you and your team do. I mean, nobody has the right to bother you because they think you are too slow or something else. You guys decided to take on your spare time to time, encode and translate series and for FREE, so no matter how much people are getting impatient for the next episode, they just have to bear with it and remain POLITE.they behave themselves like spoiled brats and really it starting to pisses me off!!
That's for a little piece of my mind, thank you so much for subs!!

thanks so much fufu and everyone in SUBlimes for the subs, haha, you should just keep episode 3 like a couple of weeks since people were so desperate for it..hahahha..joke, but seeems like you are not that heartless...I'm not even having time for ep. 2..gotta get to it soon.

THANK you sooooooooooooooooooooo much, because watching this show with subs really helps me improve my Mandarin! When I watch an episode without subs, there's a lot a slang that causes me to go, "What?" And though I understand a lot, I tend to miss a lot of details. And it reminds me of how bad my Chinese really is... *sob*

But back to the point, you guys do an EXCELLENT job! And you are so nice to be doing it! Every time I see that there are subs I go, "Yea! Now I'm happy!" Xie Xie Nimen~~!!!!
