Ok, some picutrus of my trip in 2000.

I just love the mountains in Japan, this was at lake hakone

Of course getting up the mountain can be fun, both sides are the same road, the view is from the bus as it went around the corner.

A nice waterfall.

I've been to Mt. Fuji 3 times, I've had beautiful weather all through my trips except the days on each trip I went to the mountain. This is the best view I ever had of it, one morning at about 6 am.

I went at the hight of the school trip season so there were school kids every where.
These kids were standing on one side of the road, while we, a group of westerners were stand on the other. They took out picture, so I took theirs. They then came up to me and talked with me and had me sign their school project folder, and gave me some origami cranes.

Some Schoolgirls tying fortunes to a tree at a shrine.

Some girls burning incense at a temple, I think the one in back is suspicious of me.

At least I wasn't mobbed like I was here, I walked past the kids in the first picture holding my camera, and the girls just posed on their own, so I took their picture, and then chaos ensued.

The stone walls of Osaka castle, I was really drawn to how these walls looked, so I have many pictures of stone blocks. Whistling

And the castle itself.

Look a Japanese McDonalds. Laugh

Some of the people on the tour ate in here, so I came in and was standing at the table talking to them, when a girl from behind the counter came over and brought me a chair. Now that's service. Actually I have ate at McDonalds in Japan to see what it's like, and some of thier fair is quiet good. Especially the ginger chicken sandwich, but I still prefer MosBurger.

While they were in McDonalds, I ate here. Takoyaki for the win. This was in Osaka.

The gardens at the kyoto imperial palace were very beautiful.

The Shinkansen was really a fun ride, amazing how when you would meet another one how fast they went by each other.

And lastly, the view outside my hotel window in Tokyo, thankfully they turned out the lights later in the night. Laugh

The food looks awesome *something to look forward to when I go* I definitely want to try okonomiyaki.

Here's some from Maiko, at the Akashi Kaikyo Ohashi. We go to Kobe a couple times a year. The middle one I took from Goshikiyama next to wife's parent's house. The last one taken from the bridge promenade.

i love the pic of the old man on the kyoto river! Great shot. I'm headed to Kinkakuji and some other temples in Kyoto today so maybe after i'll post some pics after i get back if im not too tired Big Smile
