Hello guys... I was about to order 10,000 points but stopped after having a short conversation with my mother. She told me that it does not look legit at all... but is it? How many people actually use Clubbox to download media?

I also have a few questions regarding the download speed for it...

Does the download speed depend on the uploader? If it does depend on the uploader (as in me downloading 6 kb/sec), will my speed change if I buy 10,000 points and use quickdownload? I hope I am downloading from Clubbox's own server and not a user's.

And... will it work with an American credit card? I was about to do it but it looked a bit weird...

Please answer my questions. Thanks.

ugh i heard clubbox was sorta liike BT... but iono i havent even signed up for a clubbox yet =[ some reason i couldnt even submit my signup form for it Tongue

I use it free, but never paid. Maybe I would if I can understand Korean. I think it's legit cuz no fake company would be able to allow so many ppl to host all those videos.

Oh, so you think they host the videos on their own server? It's strange how the max cap for download is 50 kb/sec while the most I have ever gone is 20 kb/sec... and I have 3 mb cable which my average download speed is around 380~400 kb/sec. I know the host server would most likely be in Korea, however I would still be download at around 100~160kb/sec because that's how fast I was downloading Korean games. Strange...

Yeah true... but then again, doesn't that mean it requires more than 1 person if it is like BT...? There is only one uploader... which basically means that I am downloading off of the uploader?? Then what is the use of doing quick download when I can't even go over the 50 kb/sec cap speed?

I don't think this is correct...

I think we download from CB server and as i understood, you may have a better speed than 50kbps with the Quickdownload! ^^

And sorry about that admin. I should've known better and written in here. However, there are literally 200+ pages in this thread... and it is hard to look through all of them... most likely people wouldn't even dare to look through it like I did lol.

I will post again when I do finally buy those 10,000 points and see how my download improves.

I had 10,000 points by leaving my computer on for a few weeks, and it's gonna expire really soon and I've only used about 1,000. It's kind of annoying because you really can't download the older files. Even with using QuickDownload.. it doesn't work because Clubbox works like P2P. Some files works but downloads slow like 10KB and the newer files downloads really fast.. sometimes it goes up to 200KB and up. So, unless youre planning to download the newer files.. I don't think you should pay for it. You should leave your computer for awhile and gain some mileage and give it a try first.

would any CB still have the HQs for the SBS X-Man Pattaya Special, aired 7-17-05, 7-24-05, and 7-31-05? Most CBs I've visited seem to be missing the 7-24-05, and 7-31-05 parts which I need. Looks like CB deleted them w/o the owner even knowing. So if anyone still has this on their CB, or is willing to reup to their CB I'd greatly appreciate it. If you still have it, and don't own a CB, I hope you don't mind uploading it to mine, I need the 2nd and 3rd parts because I never got to dl them.
