What program did you use to watch it with subtitles for dvd-rip
i was about to buy the dvd but theres no eng sub. so if i buy that dvd and rip it how do i watch it with subtitles from the net? ?

I'm pretty sure it's the same as downloading it off the net? o_O
You just play it on BS player or something.
The DVDs they sell around here, aren't exactly uh....real -___-'' lol!
So whenever you put it into the computer, it shows up as individual files instead of like....the main screen and stuff haha =P

No, it was an actual DVD, it was manufactured by a Chinese company or something similar. I bought it at a local store, since it's a Taiwanese drama or a Chinese-Speaking drama, it doesn't have English subtitles. It's extremely rare or me to find English Subbed Chinese-Speaking dramas here in LA.
And the "DVDs" you're talking sounds more like Data then an actual DVD.

The program I used to watch the DVD-Rip with subtitles was DVDSubber, there's a thread on it in TechSupport, the title says something like Jdramas DVDs using SoftSub or similar, I would give you the link if I had it, but I don't. If you look through that thread, you'll find a post I made that shows you how to play the DVD and subtitles, look for it. If you can't find it, PM me and I'll help you. i went through 50 pages to find all the subs.  they are now available in the first post. all episodes now have a YDY and an Icefish version.
also, for those watching the DVD version, be sure to get the revised versions of episodes 2 and 20. they are also now available in the first post.

| ^^thanks...I use virtualdubmod and avisynth to hardsub my episodes...anyway, uploading episode 1 (hardsubbed) right now and will post it up as soon as it finishes...

. Once I remove the srt file, it plays fine 
. It's the first time this has ever happened to me. I even tried both YDY and icefish's subtitles. I don't have any problem with Ep. 1.
