If I remember correctly, think the main difference is that Taoist prays to Gods (ie: God of earth, God of Heaven, God of Hell, Monkey God etc etc) whereas Monks are buddhists.... ie: they pray to Bodhisattva Kuan Yin, Shakyamuni etc etc
But sometimes some of the gods they pray to overlap as well |
are taoists able to get married? in hsds, some of them have wives but yet it seem like a sin in roch to lust for girls. confused.

The taoists in this movie belong to a different sect and the rules in HSDS are altered by the founder of wudan ( i dont know his chinese name). I dont think daoism/taoism has an official rule about marriage, some ppl just use celibacy as a mechanism for maintaining a pure and calm mind.

i'll take your words for it. i'll read hsds when i have the chance. maybe it'll explain some more.

for me.. even if these priests can be married.. Zhen Zhibing still comitted a sin because he rapred XLN..  i hate that priest... weheheheheh.. =) |
That is so true whether if you are a priest or a monk when you rape someone that is consider a sin and therefore, you should be punish! Ah I hope that priest dies soon.

erm... in what context? Literal translation would be "wo3 mei2 you3 zhuo1 zi3" in hanyu pinyin. The numbers are the tone of the word. |
