301st line of the 1st episode
This lamb is the best!
Iberiko buta saikou! in the original.
She is, in fact, talking about spanish black pig ham (jamón ibérico in Spanish) a really expensive delicacy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jam%C3%B3n
Changing "lamb" for "pig" would be more accurate.

I will add it to the general list of changes I'm making for the subs. This will affect a couple of later episodes, too...

| Due to computertroubles I haven't been able to watch the last episode till now. I've just did it, and it's definitely one of the best dramas ever, so nice and touching, I've enjoyed it from the beginning till the end. Thanx so much for subbing it!

Still, it probably wouldn't hurt to have an episode or two with the song instead... Let me know what you think.
Anyway, enjoy!

Hi,
I love this song so I translate it for I think there are some mistakes in your translation -no offense- I'm not so good in english but I believe it sticks to the sense of the japanese sentences :
Unmei no mukou
beyond destinity (The other side of destiny) - I think its all about transcending destiny, to get to the other side of it and not to lose to it.
Unmei
Destiny
Boku wa ima made shinjite inakatta
Until now I didn't believe in it
Shiawase
Happiness
Minna onaji kazu ga aru nante...
is something that everyone have in same quantity...
Kyou mo dame datta
today it was also hopeless
Asu ga mie nai
tomorrow is not visible (for you, my gess he's talking to some girl, kimi is usually used to adress a younger girl or an inferior male)
Ikiba nakushita kimi yo
you who have lost a place to go
Makeru na
Do NOT lose !
Hito wa naze kanashii hito mite
Why do people when they look at sad people,
Sukoshi dake anshin suru naze?
find only a peace of mind, why ?
Asu wo iki you
Live for tomorrow
Donna asu demo
Whatever tomorrow will be
Unmei
Destiny
Moshi aru to suru nara sakaratte miyou ka
If we assume it exists, could you try to disobey it ?
Fushiawase
Unhappiness
Sugireba nukumori kanjirareru
If you pass over it, you can feel the warmth
Hitoribocchi kamo
You may be all alone
Shinjirare nai
(But) I can't believe it
Egao wasureta kimi yo
You who have forgotten smile (smiley face)
Makeru na
Do NOT lose !
Hito wa naze waratte shinitai?
Why people want to die smilling
Naki nagara demo ikitai hito wa iru
when even if they are crying there are people that want to live ?
Asu wo iki you
Live for tomorrow
Donna asu demo
Whatever tomorrow will be
Hito wa motto yasashiku nareru desho?
People can become kinder, can't they?
Taisetsu na hito daiji ni shiyou ka
Let's treasure the people that are valuable ?
Kuchi ni dashite ienai koto demo
even if there are some things that we can't say with words,
Fureru dakede unmei koeru
Just by transgressing it, you will transcend destiny
Asu wo iki you
Live for tomorrow
Donna asu demo
Whatever tomorrow will be
Feel free to comment my translation, for it coul be in better english.

I'm looking for the song that sound at the beginning of the second episode (also in the first). It's not the opening song "Unmei no Mukou". Do you know the title of that song?
Thanks
