This is my first time subbing anything so I hope I do this right. I originally started translating this from the Chinese version for my own use (and for my love of cute Junno's smile ^_^) but I decided, why don't I just translate the whole thing and make subs? So after about a month of slaving away in front of the screen with a dictionary, this is the final product. First of all, some background info:

Summary by tsukihoshi:
After her parents' death, Umino Miyuki was forced to give up a promising future in tennis to take care of her three younger siblings. Her elder brother, in a plan to become rich, disappears, leaving a 250 million debt on his sister's shoulders. Two debt collectors seek her out for payment and inform her that she will be forced to work as a bath hostess at a bath house if she cannot come up with the money. Miyuki makes up her mind to become a professional tennis player in order to win the prize money. She seeks for help from the son of a famous tennis family, Ootori Keiichiro, who was also her senior in middle school and fellow tennis player. Will Miyuki be able to become a pro and pay off the debt?

If anyone wants to, they may use this info to update the Wiki. I don't know how to do that.

1) Names are left in their original way: Last name, First name

2) Some Japanese phrases are left in as they are, such as: suffixes, "Onee-chan," Onii-chan," "senpai," etc. I will assume you know what they mean already.

3) Please note that I have translated this based on the Chinese subtitles and there may be some discrepancies between the Japanese audio to the Chinese subs and then the English subs. I don't know Japanese, aside from the basic stuff that are commonly used and, as for Chinese, I still need the aid of a dictionary or two. A couple of times, I just took a stab at the translation since I couldn't understand neither the Chinese text nor Japanese audio. I just hope most of the meaning is still there. If there are any glaring mistakes, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone point it out to me. I will update the subs if any changes are made.

EDIT: Aug 10, 2006 - I just noticed that I somehow missed 2 lines... It's when Miyuki is watching the TV while serving at the restaurant. It's commentary on the tennis game so I guess I thought I'd go back to it later but I forgot! lol...well, I've added them now, so redownload the subs!

the ending tennis match reminds me of the recent australia vs italy world cup match... bad refeering decision..haha
