If possible I'd really like to nominate Yasashi Jikan for the next JSOTW. I've been trying to downlod the first episode for four months now, and it's impossible. There are absolutely no seeders!

Double kitchen doesn't have a lot to do with eating, unless you consider eating crow and swallowing pride to be applicable. Big Smile

It has more to do with two households (and thus two kitchens) under the same roof.

jdorama.com wrote:
Double Kitchen is a heartwarming situation comedy about a newlywed couple sharing a house with the husband's parents in a suburb of Tokyo. Ordinary situations become hilarious cross-generational battlegrounds, as the wife and her mother-in-law pursue vastly different images of the ideal family.

I can't admit, however, to how good the show is while it is on the same poll with Joou no Kyoushitsu. Whistling

I had to vote for jyou no kyoushitsu. I watched part of the series while I was in Japan last year on exchange. And for the interesting side note- It holds a place in my heart because for my school's cultural festival my entire class learnt the ending theme dance and performed it in front of around 2000 people lol.

Reasons to watch Joou no Kyoushitsu:

1. Amami Yuki!
2. Amami Yuki's masterful performance portraying a demonic teacher with a mysterious background.
3. Shida Mirai and a classroom of kids that can act!
4. Yukawa Kazuhiko, the same screenwriter that brought us Great Teacher Onizuka, Koi ga Shitai, Oyaji (just to name a few).
5. To see why a show that started with a rating of 14.4% ended up with a final episode rating of 25.3%.
6. Thought-provoking social commentary.
7. The ending credits!

Good point there SnWa.. Wub Wub Wub

i one to add one more:
All the drama that involved on student and teacher such as GTO, Gokusen, nobuta wo produce or even Gachi baka are base on high school student( age between 15-17) but
Joou no Kyoushitsu are base on student that are only 12 years old Laugh Laugh
so try to watch this drama and see how there face the demonic teacher with a mysterious background. Cool Cool
