i just got the english sub dvd that zoke released
the packaging is really nice
there are 15 dvd total
the 15 dvd have some behind the scenes stuff...it's kinda boring at least the parts i saw anywayz...would have been nice if they had sub it...then maybe it might have been a little bit more interesting
the case is really well built....each disc have a picture of each of the different main character from the series...the video and audio quality is superb..way better than the original chinese mainland one that was released as well as the taiseng version...it's on dvd-9 media which is basically 9 gb dvd....and there are 3 episodes per disc except for for dvd 14 where there are only 2 episodes and then a slideshow of pix
the english subtitles is ok....crazylife team is doing an excellent job compare to these guys...there are misspelt names as well as too many literal translations in the english subs...the chinese subs are hardcoded in and cannot be turn off...the english subs can be toggle on and off...
there are also 2 posters included in the set as well...this is a prettier box than the other 2 that was released earlier..

aye binky...does the english sub appear on top of the screen or just above the chinese sub?

it's on the movie....just like the pictures LYF7anatic show.
if you want me to rip the english subs..i can do it...
there's one scene where they refer to the ancient tomb sect as GouMou Pie
hehehe....
but i am impressed with the video and audio quality...it seems way better than the other 2 versions....

Thanks for the review of the new DVD box set. Can you tell me more about the
video and audio quality?
Video:
1. Can you let me know the video bitrate?
2. I'm assuming that you have Zoke (chinese release) version of ROCH box set..
In this version, there is so many jagginess on edges. Do you see this problem in
the new box set? It's really hard noticing it from still images.
Audio:
1. How many channel is the audio?
2. What is the audio bitrate?

| I really like Return of the Condor Heroes that are subbed by the subbers that are releasing the episodes now. My little tells me that I rather download it then to buy it because the quality is already good enough. I agree with him and plus, ordering it you wouldn't know if they subbed it right or have mispelled words. But anyways thanks to all the subbers for subbing Return of the Condor Heroes!
