I tried watching this on a Mac using VLC and had timing problems, but I took your advice, chose "Override" and set the fps to 29.970. Works perfectly.

Thanks so much for doing this. It's great.

| Lian: I'm on OSX as well running VLC (.8.5 test 3) but can't seem to fix the subtitle issue. You say that you choose "override" - where did you do that? I've added in the {1}{1}29.970 code as well... Thanks for any help.

Thank you Lian! that works perfectly. I always open files with either Command-O or using the file itself, so I totally missed that. And it looks like you don't need to edit the .sub file with the new time code if using this method. I'd found an elaborate way of doing the same thing through Preferences > Input/Codecs > Demuxers > Subtitles, but that was a lot harder. Thanks for helping.
And a big thanks to awrittensin for such fast and good subbing. I can finally see all of your hard work!

After another in a line of members contacted me about timing problems, I addressed the issue on the front page of this thread. Please check it and try those solutions.
The first few were very polite, but now it's gotten to the point where I am getting some rude emails "accusing" me of timing my subtitle files incorrectly. I think the majority of the members who download my subtitles know that I produce very high quality subtitles, alone, and I do quality checks to ensure accuracy.
Now that I've posted this on every subtitle thread for every project I've done, there is no longer an excuse to me rudely email me. _________________ Upcoming Publications:

| The next time somebody PM's you with a complaint, post it in a thread called "flame the luser", and the persons appointed by god and his angels to toast whiners will go rapidly to work on your behalf ;^)

You, my dear, have always put out top-notch subs so many thanks as always!
As far as the bitchy, whiney e-mails, etc. Just forward them to me. I'll create a new level of hell for any of the ungrateful little bastards giving you trouble.
Pretty wussy bunch if they're afraid to post their little crap publicly. I can fix that... _________________ I am not obsessed. I am just very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very focussed...
