i guess ruro changed the filenames to make a standard format.

| That's not going to be fun for people who already have the episodes stored on a DVD or CD and want to seed. I purposely keep the file names the same as when I downloaded them so it'll be easier for me to seed. Oh well.

well, from my point of view, changing the file names is not that hard. but hey, at least we agree on something, we both keep the original file names for furure seeding.

No, it's not hard. However, I just changed all of the file names that I'm seeding to match those in the new batch torrent, and it tells me that I only have ~99% of each file and insists on downloading the "rest" of it. I get the feeling that it should either have none of the file...or all of it....this is just plain creepy. I'll share with you all the joy of BitComet.
Edit: Sorry the pic is so big...I tried to resize it, but the frame stays the same size on d-addicts, so it doesn't make a difference.

| Yep, very creepy. My completed files just "finished" (again), and now I'm finally seeding episodes 21-24.

I also typically keep the filename the same for seeding, I must of forgotten it for goong since I had the files on the server ever since it came out.

How can it work ? |
you're not connected to any peers at all, read the FAQ and this-> Tweaking Bittorrent - How To Configure Bittorrent

I get this all the time with bitcomet and it is a pain for reseeding files. I notice that you have alternate files ticked. I think that's the reason as one "chunk" is spread over those two files, therefore you have half a chunk so it doesn't hash. That may be rubbish but it's the way I've come to understand it. It's always the files next to unticked files that this happens to.

Interesting...I just unchecked those because I'm not used to seeding subs...since they're in the subtitle forum and all. Plus I hadn't renamed those either yet. Maybe I'll add them and see what happens if I do that.
