Here's a smart and sexy show. A Monday sitcom about various 20 and 30 yo singles, veterans in the dating scene, looking for their other halves or making sure. Think of the movie "Singles" or something like that but in Seoul to get a basic idea. First episode is out and can be gotten at various clubboxes which I'll post later. I don't know for how many episodes the show will run, and not that it's always possible to gauge the quality of a show from a single episode but the first has been quality to me. I like the writing, dialogue, cast, direction, and acting, as well as the music. Very nice OST so far.
MBC sitcom, 2006, airing Mondays from March 13-??
Cast and characters (as posted at soompi):
Shin Dong-wook (currently the mc for Show! Music Core): He plays the role of a music coordinator who is a sweet player.
Lee Soo-gyeong (played the character SeulAh in the drama 'Dear Heaven'): She plays the role of a reporter for some news company. shinDongWook and LeeSooKyung will show a shocking appearance as a couple.
Choi Pillip (He debuted by having a similar resemblance to BaeYoungJoon): His character went out with SooKyung for five long years...but at one point...he gets seduced by Min-ae....and gets into a different love feeling.
Jang Min-ae (appeared for a short moment in the sitcom 'New NonStop aka Rainbow Romance' (I believe): She plays the role of a girl who has a strong image that can seduce any guy.
Sang-Ah.

It's 소울메이트 in Korean which is literally "Soh Ool Meh Teu"
I get all episodes from creidesca's box, which I linked in the first post.
Episode 8 was really nice. Love this show.

Soulmate is anything but boring.
This week's episode (ep 10) was awesome..
I still don't know how many episodes this show is going for but it looks like it's coming to a close soon.
A few reasons why this show is really cool:
1) Besides the awesome soundtrack, all the characters are their own. Hong Yujin's character, for instance, speaks in a goofy but archaic, Chosun-era sort of Korean. Her bespectacled friend is a neurotic but hyper nerd with love ambitions of her own, and it plays out to comic effect, sometimes touching, sometimes sexual.
2) The editing is like nothing I've seen in a Kdrama. The narrative structure and the way the story folds out isn't linear. Consider how each weekly episode can have up to 2 "episodes". Ep 10 goes up tp ep 18 story wise. More than that, the way each weekly episode deals with its own issues ties things together, all at the same time progressing its larger story... which turns out to be about 2 characters among the 8 main characters. Those 2 are the "soulmates" but they don't know until later.
