OK, even though I'd prefer to wait until its subtitles are ready, I've started to reseed Episode 5. In return, could somebody -- anybody -- who's actually watched some of the earlier subtitles give me some kind of feedback? Good, bad, just something.

I want to thank you, debye for your subs. Thank you for doing both the Japanese and English translations! I was so excited to see them. Your subtitles will really help me to study Japanese.

It is really hard to hear and understand Japanese while watching a drama because they speak so fast and slur alot of words, so what you are doing is FANTASTIC!!!

I just had to tell you how much I appreciate your work.

Big new, folks. I'm a quarter-way through Episode 5 and I now know where Haru and his mom live. (He's smart enough now to search his own medical records, which contain their addresses.)

(Drum roll, please.)

Haru lives in Mishima, a city of about 110,000 at the north end of the Izu peninsula

His mom lives in Toi, a tourist town of 6300 on the west coast of Izu. Since it's about 20 miles from Mishima, neither Haru nor Erina are likely to be visiting Mom on foot.

Mishima and Toi are in Shizuoka province, which, according to Wikipedia, means the local accent is similar to that of Nagano or Yamanashi. This actually doesn't help me much in deciphering their speech, but at least I feel like I'm on the trail.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

The subs are really good. Nice and clear. On some non translations, I have attempted to figure them out also along with my wife (who is Japanese) and it is even hard for her to understand what they are saying also. But all in all, up to and including ep4 the subs are very easy to follow though.

Sorry I forgot, but we could use alot of help on seeding ep06, I know that debey is out there all the time because of the ip address, but we are stuck at 49.5%

OK, I'll upload Episode 6 for a while. At my speed, it should take less than half a day to finish the four downloads I see (at about 50%).

WOW! I had the first episode for a while now but I didn't think the subs were out then, but I just let it on my pc. I almost deleted it, but then I found the subs and gave it a shot. I had no clue what it was about and OMG...this drama is so great so far. I love how creative the Japanese are with their entertainment.

Also, is there a clubbox for this drama??

I'm currently downloading it rightnow....slow as hell...only 1 seed and 2 leechers. I don't care..i'll see how it goes and I will definitely seed this show.

Thanks for seeding, nng. By the way, I'm about halfway through Episode 5 now, and hope to make good progress over the weekend. So far Erina has only cried once, and that was a recap of Episode 4.

I'm trying to seed as well...not a good uploader? I will try to upload as long as it takes..months..i dunno. Thanks debye for subbing this show...it's such a great show so far. This is the first show that I really cared to seed. I think your translations and subbing are generally good, I get the whole picture. Some subs tend to be only Japanese romanized..but it's all good. If you keep the way you're going now, I have no complaints, only appreication. THanks again

Hi, I just wanted to apologize for not meeting my self-imposed Sunday night deadline for Algernon. I've finished a first pass at all the subs for Episode 6, but I'm only about halfway through the cleanup run. It should be ready in a day or two, though.

Sorry for not getting back to you debye, I've been swamped with school work and I just took on a translation project for a full game I've been looking for help with for the last two years. Good luck on the rest of the subs though and if I have the chance I'll re-edit them for you.
