This is Episode 20 of the Chinese wuxia fantasy (emphasis on fantasy) series 'Chinese Paladin,' or Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan.

Another character appears briefly here...(played by Li Bing Bing)

There is a small bit in this ep that's involved with Daoism (Taoism) and a lot of it is beyond me, since it's rather poetic and 'deep'. Since it's not vital to the understanding of the plot, and rather than butcher the translation, I just skipped it. It's basically a chant about the human, Immortal and ghost Dao, and how you should better yourself and strive for the Immortal/Good Way rather than the Ghost/Demon/Evil Way, etc.

Xiao Yao uses an idiom in this episode: 'Old Man Sai loses a horse; how do you know it's not fortune?' The folktale behind it is too involved to explain in the video. So just click here if you'd like to know the story of Old Man Sai and the horse; I'll retell the version I know.

Edit: just realized I must've been asleep earlier editing through. The idiom should be: "Old Man Sai loses a horse", not "watches." Sorry 'bout that.
