hey i noticed some missing lines of dialogue from the subs...

30:37 - Hiroko and the clients singing; Yutaro's patients singing

26:18 - the head doctor and Yutaro are talking, no subs are shown while they are talking.
.

mihiro's clients are saying something like: mihiro and everyone are alive. because we're alive we drink! (parody of a japanese song) :

original:
bokura wa minna ikite iru
ikite iru kara utaunda

kiken na aneki:
mihiro wa minna ikite iru
ikite iru kara nonchaunda

and......

yuutarou's patients are doing their signature Regular (the name of the duo) act. they're saying: old woman pins down old man. hai! hai! hai hai hai!

yuutarou doesn't know anything about baseball and the dr. is telling him he should study it. talking about the Catcher position it seems (seems like everyone in Osaka loves baseball and the Hanshin Tigers). as he leaves he says "yakyuu benkyou shite ne." (study baseball)

catcher ya!

i've been editing some mistakes just for fun, if i had time, i'd volunteer to proofread stuff, i just don't want to deal with having to time stuff.

plus, I don't know how to edit the timing (is that the correct term?) except for manually renumbering all those lines, which is very time consuming. I also skipped Hiroko kept on saying "Merry Christmas" too because I assume all of us here can understand those words.

as for the head doctor talking, try asking someone who knows or understands Osaka dialect.

Thank you for working so hard.

I was playing around with adding some of those missing lines, and it seems to make no difference if you don't renumber them and just reuse the same number (in other words, it made no difference in my test if I used 300 six consecutive times as a subtitle number). As for the timings, you can use some of the ones I have made, and change the translation to whatever you like, since mine may be inaccurate.

8:44 Yutaro with the crazy patients. This does not include everything they say. I think that guy's name is Michikara, but my friend thinks Michika.

00:08:44,641 --> 00:08:50,320
Well, this is called a stethoscope
You got it / You understand?

91
00:08:51,540 --> 00:08:54,520
What's that?! What's that!?

91
00:08:55,750 --> 00:08:59,700
Michika-san!*
That was funny! That was funny!

//
26:16 Yutaro and another doctor talking

265
00:26:18,737 --> 00:26:20,524
-You don't know?
-That's right.

265
00:26:20,527 --> 00:26:22,124
-You don't know?
-I don't know.

265
00:26:22,124 --> 00:26:23,227
-Aren't you coming to the ball game?

265
00:26:23,227 --> 00:26:27,132
-I'm sorry.
-But you're the catcher...

//
31:09 Scene with Yutaro looking for a file and Hiroko with the turtles. This one drove me nuts trying to figure it out, so it's not a full job, but I think it is okay.

300
00:31:09,146 --> 00:31:12,646
-Um, excuse me. Could you help me find a file?

300
00:31:12,646 --> 00:31:14,125
-This one right?
-Yes

300
00:31:14,125 --> 00:31:16,400
-Here you are
-Thank you

300
00:31:20,746 --> 00:31:24,940
How about a special turtle? Right now, we're having a brief fundraiser.

300
00:31:25,146 --> 00:31:29,9
Do your best, orange! [something about a letter]*

Man, how many times do I have to repeat myself, STOP writing down all the "mistakes according to you" down on the posts. You're suppose to just pm the translator and not posted it to everyone. We need to add this rule in bold or something. But just as common sense, its really rude to the fansubber to post these "mistakes".

I might have found a mistake in the sub of Ep2, though my japanese newbie so I might be wrong as well. I am chinese however so the chinese-resemblance of the error is quite obvious to me. It may contain spoiler so view at your own discretion.

Hidden:

At the beginning of Ep2 where the 2 guys in black suits come to Hiroko to collect money, the total amount writen on the paper is 30 million yen and then they said to pay weekly "san jiu man".

Shouldn't "san jiu man (三十万)" = 300,000?? "san(三)" = 3; "jiu(十)" = 10; "man(万)" = 10,000; hence 3 x 10 x 10,000 = 300,000??

Edited:
I was busy with something and I had to stop while watching Ep2. I've later resumed and just finished watching the episode and see that several "300,000" were correctly subbed in the second half of the episode. So most likely it was a typo for the beginning. However, the admin or the person that made the sub should make to correction to the soft-sub SRT file.
