Hana-Kimi, Hot Gimmick, Wallflower... Othello would really be fun. Loli style, music, comedy. @_@ I know there's a Taiwanese version of MARS, but I always thought that would make a nice tear-jerker movie. Beni-iro HERO. Oh, I'd love for someone (not the Japanese) to make God Child. That would just kick ass visually, but let's just face it. It'd be weird with all Asian people. No offense... e_e' Man, I wish I knew manga from outside of America! I'm sure there's plenty of groovy stuff that I have no idea exists. o_o' A live action BECK would be cool too. Live music! ^^ It sucks they only do things that take place in real life. There's a bunch of cool stuff out there, but it'd require totally new sets and stuff. Too difficult and expensive. -_-
Hmm, and who to cast... Well, for Wallflower Koike Teppei could be Yuki. Oh, I'd try to cast him in anything... He's so cute! And Kame could be one of the guys, I guess...and...and...Abe Hiroshi! o_o' I don't know what he'd do, but he'd kick ass in any drama. e_e'

Personally, I think the chances of seeing Hot Gimmick in drama form, are not that low.
The same goes for Hana Kimi, but indeed what cute girl can play a boy too, it has to be possible, somehow :D *thinks*
I'd love to see MeruPuri (mangaka: Hino Matsuri) in drama form, but then again; since it's a fantasy-romance kind of manga, I think it would be near impossible to do and it will probably turn out extremely tacky. Hmm, maybe with a gigantic budget.
...Maybe not.
Then again, who wouldn't want to know the real life drama counterparts of these two:
Any suggestions? ;)_________________

"Miss Modern" or any of Waki Yamamoto's (or is it Waki Yamato?) works
"Popcorn" - forgot who wrote this and what the original Japanese title is.

| fushigi yugi >> however, it will be extremely hard to create a live drama out of that, it's pretty complicated even with special effects

| Paradise Kiss. Well, continue where the anime left off. The anime was put in a drama time slot and got huge rating. No brainer.

i think parfait tic would be pretty good, but it's a bit hard to sustain a love triangle for a long time. i think that manga does a good job, but it might be hard to adapt. that's why i liked hyd so much because it wasn't just a love triangle. it was also about reaching inside yourself to discover that your life isn't going to be perfect and the way that it was planned. if someone loves you so much, the circumstances don't matter.
ichigo channel would be fun. and i don't think it'd be hard to make a girl look like a guy. lots of guys in dramas look pretty feminine, and even in the manga she didn't look very boyish. tajima mimi's other manga koi suru 1/4 would be good too.
also ueda rinko's historical stuff would be good as well. tsuki no shippo is great. the only thing is that they'd have to do tsuki no toiki, ai no kizu first.

I second it! But, as you say, it would present quite a challenge!!
