Not to go OT here...but the quarter system at UCLA (or probably anywhere else) isn't that bad and certainly NOT brutal (IMHO).

| Ah, well, I went there 20 years ago. Probably now it is a cakewalk. And engineering majors probably get all the girls now too!

| The quarter system has survived at UCLA (and all of the UCs except Cal and the new UC Merced) since 1966 with overwhelming student support. And I don't know about 20 years ago...but as a 3-time alumnus of UCLA I can personally speak for the years from 1990-2005. Go Bruins!!
