I love that group for their quality subbing and translation. It would be a shame for them to just fade away. But with their resent lack of updates and now the site doesn't work, I fear the worst. Can anyone alleviate my concerns?

Purely as a display of courtesy and kindness, I would NEVER hunt down the original seeder to re-seed. Original seeders seeded enough the first time. Now it's up to the community to continue the seeding. It isn't up to the orignal seeder to keep torrents alive.

| Last I heard, eltinator moved to So-Cali to go to school (UCLA, I think). I think he's very busy with studying.

Oooh...I'm sorry, I didn't know it was unpolite to do so! I'm new to the jdrama community and to D-Addicts, so I still don't know the etiquette very well. Thanks for warning me, I would have ended up doing something bad!
I'll just wait and see if someone can reseed.

You could ask for a reseed in the appropriate post in the "Seeding and Uploading Request" subsection. Asking for reseed is fine, but I wouldn't specifically go ask the original seeder. I'd just do a general request/plea to those who have completed the download after the initial seeding._________________ Join the VSS. Always on the lookout for good seeders.

Alright, I just renewed my reseed request. In the meanwhile, I'll go on uploading what I have of the file to others...there 7 other peers, even if it's only me requesting a reseed. Sorry for the trouble!

I hope all of you people are taking this as a hint.
I'm not kidding, folks... DO..... NOT..... BUG..... THE.... ORIGINAL..... SEEDERS. Some of you think, "Oh, groink is full of crap - he's making a big deal out of all this!" It has nothing to do with any nettiquite anything. It's purely common sense and human decency. It's like a kid who keeps nagging at his dad because he's being ignored...
"Dad? Dad? DAD? DAD? Dad...."
"WHAT?!!?!?!??!?!?! WHAT THE &#^%^ DO YOU WANT?????"
"Ummm, may I have a cookie?"
Maybe his dad is trying to focus on a more important issue, like driving the car or talking to his boss. Same thing with Elt and the other SO folks (and EVERY OTHER fansub group for that matter) - they have school, and from what I've heard Elt also has a full-time job. Dramas should be an escape - not a lifestyle.
Methods of getting the episodes you need:
1. Beg within the D-Addicts community for seeds.
2. Search the web for drama lists made by other fans, and trade with them.
3. Go on the various IRC channels and beg.

| Groink, you doofus, I am trying to help get the Studio Oto website back online, I am not trying to get any special treatment from anybody. The email bounced because their ISP has declared them over-bandwidth.

Hi Suginamimelody!
Whenever Studio Oto comes back, I want to donate some cash. Mukodono, Rurui no Shima, and Lunch no Joou are great series, and your work on them has been superb!
See you on the studiooto.com forums after Eltinator gets through his first 6 week quarter at UCLA. I swear... the first two weeks nothing happens, and the last two weeks are finals. Physics classes under that schedule are brutal... brutal. I hope Eltinator is planning on an art major... more free time and girls.
