Sorry if this is an obvious question, but what exactly is 'Japanese soft subs'? I've been looking for a way to get things with Japanese subtitles for a long time but haven't found any way (except for japanese playstation, japanese region DVDs, etc..)
Is there a special player you need to see the subtitles?
Thanks alot!

soft subs is when the subtitle comes on a separate file, opposite to hard burned, when the subs are encoded on the avi/mpg
soft subs are 99% of the time from DVD rip
you need vobsub installed in order to view soft subs together with video, make sure subs are the exactly same name as source
ie:
movie.avi
movie.srt

| I have a question. Mine doesn't seem to have english subttiles. I got the chinese ones to work but I don't see any english SRT files. The 2 other SRT files just say things about editing a srt file. Could someone help. I also don't know the URL of Kloofys site.

I'm having trouble. All the subs on Kloofys site are about 7 minutes off when you get to the 2nd half because the first srt file goes to 1:12 minutes but the clip on this site only goes to 1:05 minutes. Can anyone tell me how they got their subtitles?
*What is an MSInfo document? I Found one in this movie as well as the movie Battle Royale 2 from Supernova. Do I need that file?

nfo -- Microsoft registeres this extension as part of Windows OS.
You can change it by associating nfo with notepad.
Instead of double clicing it, (without thinking anything),
open it with notepad. (Open notepad and drag xxx.nfo and
drop it onto notepad interface)
SRT, SMI --you just do try and error.
Do you think that there is only one avi (or two avis ) from only
one person? SRT, SMI is based upon specific avis.
For example, my favorite Dust Off had to issue 4 different SMIS
to one person's upload to a.b.m.j
Originally 2 CDs (Too dark, too)
then, next 1 CD (Bit bighter)
thir , 2 CDs (bit brighter)
And the break point of frame differed every time he uploaded
avis. Then, subtitle timing must change.
And someone uploaded 2 CD version at a.b.vcdz, which was
far better in video quality. Do Dust had re-issued 2 CD version.
Again, break point of frame was different.

Yeah I got it. I was just wondering which subtitle file people downloaded.
The one that came in the movie was like chinese, japanese, and english all together, right? So then how can you change from 1 to another?

Sorry I have no idea what you are trying to say...
Again, I must make a logical guess...
The one I downloaded is the one uploaded to
a.b.vcdz. (After deleting avis posted to a.b.m.j).
and made DVDR using Dust Off's Eng sub.
If you say your avi came with chinese, japanese, and english all together
sounds like sub files from DVD rip. All you do is to pick only
one you want. ( Rename others or delete them if confusing)

Sorry, it's hard to explain. I just don't understand how the subtitles are for this movie. All other movies are fine. You have the english one and the movie. Put 1 and 1 together and you get 2. For this, it says (uploader said) that there was chinese, Japanese, english. There was only 2 srt per AVI video and 1 of the SRT just had timers on it. The other one wouldn't register on my computer. Just showed a bunch of lines. Maybe because it was Chineses.
"delsxyz" Have you gotten this movie yet?
