Shota no Sushi has been English subbed by JEM, and has a total of 17 episodes. I don't know what this one is missing...

It's possible that the Chinese copies have multiple episodes combined. They did that with the Chinese subbed VCD sets of Under the Same Roof and Dreams of Romance.

HK VCD tends to squeeze everything into 1 CD.
So 11 episodes become 7 or 8 VCD set.
And they even edit out some scenes to fit
into CDs.
Poor English Sub (All Singapore subs are bad!)
but at least you can see one entire episode. ( Yes, sometimes
they cut off scenes, too. ) I remember one episode of Foodfight.
JEM released NO SOUND VERSION. ( Yes, no sound)
Dust Off ripped his Chinese VCD version for this particular episode
(If my memory is correct, Prince Melon's father was dying in
hospital). Someone ripped this VCD sound and ported into
JEM release. And he discovered 3 minutes were cut off from
JEM version. So he inserted Chinese sub version into this
missing segments. So from this, you know JEM version is
not always showing the entire episode. They really cut back
some scenes.

True, I was just wondering about the edits. Food Fight was cut from 12 episodes to 10, but to cut Shota from 17 down to 11? They'd have to stuff an extra 6 x 40 min = 240 min across 11 discs. I'd imagine this was probably heavily edited...
