KSOTM - How it works... <-- read!

Thanks to all that made KSOTM possible and successful, including Jem and RuMxZ/aznV for allowing us to add series on their trackers to the mix! All series are either on D-Addicts', Jem's or aznV's trackers.

In this thread we are looking for volunteers who want to seed a drama when it becomes a KSOTM. Please post in this thread which of the listed kdramas you have and want to help seeding (together with other volunteers). Currently only dramas with enough volunteers (4 or more) will be considered as poll candidates for KSOTM.

Note to all readers of this thread: Please don't PM the listed users for seeds. They volunteered to seed these dramas only if it becomes a KSOTM. Please request seeds in the request forum instead.

thanks for volunteering Scyth3r!

I should probably add that we will just be focussing the kSOTW for completed kdramas from d-addicts tracker. This may change in the future but we just want to concentrate on these series for now without making things complicated.

As for Winter Ballad which has the first 6 episodes at aznV.net, we'll have to get the okay from that group to include those 6 torrents in our kSOTW poll. I know there are other places w/ kdramas such as jem's but they will not be included in the poll.

In the future, if we get a good number of volunteers, we hope to add on the other dramas that Scyth3r is referring to that haven't been completed such as Let's Go to School Sangdoo and Propose.

If ppl wants to volunteer for All In seeds as well that would be great, another series i didn't get to grab.

Once the new series finish, they will also be plausible options for the poll, just like how the current SOTW is done right now. Thanks Scyth3r for mentioning All In - which I forgot to add. I didn't count Autumn Tale because eventually it'll be released all over again with the combined version, and I didn't add Summer Scent because that series is entirely from aznv. Also, Summer Scent's torrents on aznv's site are currently compacted into 2 giant blocks, so I don't know how that would work ...

One thing everyone has to remember is that the SOTW's number one purpose is for leeches to catch-up on the episodes they missed. For example, a leech downloaded episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10, and is missing part of 5 and 8. For whatever reason he missed those two episodes, the SOTW allows for him to have one or more seeders re-visit these torrents.

Though the SOTW can be used to get an entire series you've never had before, that should be a less of a priority. In otherwords, those who argue that seeding huge blocks of episodes in a single are better, the idea of "conveniece" goes against the purpose of the SOTW's existence. That's why, to statisfy the SOTW's main purpose, a separate torrent for each episode fits better under its guidelines.

If someone can figure out out to download just a single episode out of a large torrent, then we can re-visit the matter. But for now, the BitTorrent protocol doesn't allow for that.

Bottom line, the SOTW is not a leech-fest by any means! SOTW is meant to be a catch-up event.
