it quite annoying to know Carn from FSS, know she downloaded, shared well past a 1:1 ratio there, THEN came here to share with you, and get ANY complaints
I'd say she has gone well above and beyond..but then again, i'm only speaking from the part of me which recognizes someone who is truly part of a community ... unlike this guy
thanks Carn =P

sorry for being harsh, perhaps i over did it
i did alot of experimenting with these and here is the best solution i've found
It's actually quite simple, but some other apps i tried had a problem with the mpeg headers for these
[note: this only works for the SVCD's]
1] run the mpeg's through VCDGear, making sure to check the box saying "fix errors"
2] since autogk now supports file input any mpeg2 format, open this, load your mpeg
3] to get the same width, click on advanced settings and change fixed width to 480
press ctl+f9 to access hidden options, make sure "detect 43 [global options]" is
checked
4] codec=XviD
5] Filesize: i chose custom at 350, but of course if you wish it smaller, do so [i wouldn't
go lower than 225 myself]
Process takes about 80 mins for me, so i just add several jobs and leave it on all night
http://www.vcdgear.com/files/vcdgear356_050213beta.zip]VCDGear
http://www.autogk.me.uk/]AutoGK
note...latest versions of autogk have DAE.dll installed. This is adware and should be removed after installation
here is the best tool for doing so [as of course microsoft's own uninstallation DOES NOT work for this]
screenshots in 100% size
good luck
