I am releasing the translated subs from chinese to english by IMAGEHAHA.

STATUS: Completed 01-22 BY ImageHaHa

P.S. if any one interested to help edit the subs feel free to do so. I only did the automatic spelling check on them that's all. Proofreading and revising are welcome!

06-25-2007 I have all the english subtitles from ImageHaHa. I have put away the avi files already (sort of lost track where they are) and have been really busy. I dont think i have time to seed the files again. I know it is going to be sad if i post all the subs out, no body would care to help seed the avi files again. I am here to call out for help for those who have got the files and willing to help seed the files again. I will send them the subs first. that's a priority to get them before everyone else. I believe it is fair to say that, dont you all agree?

The Plan
Here is what i hope will do. if someone can create a all in one batch torrent and submitted to d-addicts. You dont have to share all the files but just generate 1 batch torrent. Then for those who are willing to help out share the files that they can seed and post your seeding files here. to update this thread. That way everyone is helping a bit instead of 1 ppl hosting all the files.

Once again, I am here to ask for everyone's help to make the release a little easier and to serve the loving d-addicts community. Thanks

08-23-2006 ImageHaHa is back with the last 4 eps translated. I will release them when i have time to proofread them. It is good to know this project is still going. Once i have all the subtitles, i will seed them again. Hopefully~

DURATION: October through Present 2004 / Special: Shiroi Kyoto: The Great White Tower starts on January 8, 2004.

synopsis:

Goro Zaizen and Shuji Satomi are assistant professors at Naniwa University Hospital. Goro is a brilliant surgeon who will do anything to make his way up the corporate ladder. On the other hand, Shuji is a physician who earnestly devotes himself to medical research. Though the two doctors have contrasting personalities and are considered to be rivals, they highly recognize each other's skills.

The entire medical department is restless while preparing for the election to choose a new Surgical Department Professor. All Goro has on his mind, is how to win the election. Meanwhile, Shuji is looking after a patient who apparently has pancreatic cancer. He carries out tests on the patient cautiously, and is very careful in telling the patient of the cancer. However, Goro barges in on their conversation, and out of the blue, tells the patient he has cancer, and that he needs an operation right away. Shuji is furious at Goro's rude attitude, and yells, "Doctors are not God!" Goro ignores this, and starts laying the groundwork for the operation. But when Goro finds out that the Director of the Medical Department has already given a diagnosis of stomach cancer, he cancels the operation. He feels that pointing out his boss's misdiagnosis will only hurt him in the upcoming election. Shuji however, is determined to save the patient's life and go on with the operation.

I have some Japanese knowledge, unfortunately not enough to translate by myself... :^(

I'd love to help edit, I've done editing for anime fansubs before.

Are you going to be coordinating the editing, or should I just download them and PM you saying "I fixed them up, here"?

Also, I don't think I'll find time until after May 9th, which is my last final.

just wondering what the status is on the english subs for the episodes after 1-8. I've watched up to episode 8 and am totally loving the series, and am excited to be able to watch the rest of them with subs.

eps 9-10 was translated, i was hoping someone can help proof/edit it before releasing. I have done spellcheck on them only. Well I might release it if there's no one available now for proof/editing anytime soon.

IMAGEHAHA been working on them. This is a long series and there isnt many response that many wants this series. Many thanks to IMAGEHAHA hardwork~~~

Hi,

Just a question, do you have access to Japanese Subs from the DVD? If so, I would be able to help you and IMAGEHAHA translate this fairly quickly.

Although I have never did any subs or experience in timing. If you let me know what needs to be translated or proof read I can help.

Just let me know what the next step would be.
