I was sick of updating the English-friendly clubbox link page, so I took it down. On my clubbox, if you leave the cursor over the folder, you can see the English title, too. Or you can click on the folders and the English part will show up on the right. :]

hello, does anyone know why my speed is always 50kb/s and never faster? is there a way that i can increase it? thanx in advance.

^^this has been discussed in the other clubbox thread. you need to be a member before you can get speeds above 50. to become a member you need a korean ssn. otherwise, you'll have to be happy with what you have. Smile

I was getting around 30 kb/sec using normal (low speed) connection and
I am paying $16/mo to get quick download.

Speed of quick download ranges from low 30 kb/sec to 350 kb/sec.
It depends on how popular the file is. If it is stored in many pc's, you get extra connection to receive those files. (sort of p2p technology, I guess.)

I was monitoring with x-netstat and see up to 13 concurrent connections to various hosts in Korea, Japan, USA, Canada, UK, etc. I was surprised that the connection to some of Korean site was much faster than the connection to the next state. Smile

For my opinion, the extra $16/mo is worth every cent.

Actually, I'm a member, but I still get about 60 kb/s max (usually very consistent though, so I'm happy). To get much faster speeds, you need to have these points, which I'm not sure how to get. I'm assuming through some form of currency though, and as I'm not ina a rush, I'm happy with what I have. ^^

I noticed a lot of people are having trouble with clubbox that files don't get loaded to their clubbox window and that they see a window that they have to install the program. I have this problem too. However I noticed that when you install clubbox and you download for the first time, you see a window with a bar showing that it's downloading the files into clubbox. Did someone else notice this too? The strange thing is it only happens once. After the first time you never see this window again. Why?? Does someone know? Because this window is so useful, you see that it is transferring the files into the clubbox program.

With so many clubbox users out their,I wonder didn't anyone has the solution for this problem?

I keep having the problem where clubbox just doesn't start up when I try to start the download, so I have to restart my computer before I can get it to work. -_-

First follow these instructions:

Oh, btw, clubbox doesn't work with firefox, so you have to use iexplorer.
When you try to download and nothing happens, check on your taskmanager if you can see clubbox.exe and fscagent.exe running. If they're running and you still can't download, then you have to end the clubbox process by clicking End Process, I know you guys know how this works, the usual stuff.
After ending the process, try to download again. I have tested it this way and it works just fine. Just remember to check your taskmanager for fscagent.
So you don't have to restart your computer, just end the process of clubbox.exe and fscagent.exe if necessary. And run fscagent again and start downloading! This has to work!

In this tutorial: http://home.comcast.net/~redpanther86/INSTRUCTION.html, I only got past selecting the download option...when I select to let the pop-up thingy download this program onto my computer, my computer just restarts all by itself. Crazy
