it has been answered a lot in the subtitle forum

well all u have to do since u've already got the Windows Media Classic is just to rename the file from filename.rm to filename.rmvb
that should make the subs work, and don't worry renaming the file type won't affect the video file Smile hope that would help

Hi! I've been uninstalling and installing all my video players for like 6 hours because I cannot load the subtitle to an .rm file! I was googling when I saw this post. Thanks very much for your help!

Download and install this:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/k_lite_Mega_codec_pack.htm

Choose "Lots of stuff" option during the install. Then play your movie file with the Media Player Classic they supplied.

Hi! Thanks for your reply!

I tried the suggestion of someone here and it worked a while ago!

Still thankful for your reply. It was fast. Tongue

i have noticed that the KMplayer plays .rmbv files with subs. all you need to do is make them in the same folder and have the same name.
