omg thank you! This was the one drama I was looking forward to the most this season. As soon as I saw the cast and the synopsis I knew it would be brilliant and I would be having tons of fun with it. But it also made me think not too many people would want to sub it and for the longest time no one claimed it on the fansub map (though that doesn't mean much lately). So this is a great surprise.

So I'm happy to present my third drama series and the first of the year!
It was really hard deciding which one to do this season but due to various reasons (and MatsuKen) I picked this one.

Here are some translation notes that aren't really things you need to know just things I noted.
- The sweets they were eating at the girl's house are called macaron and are from France. There is also a Japanese version called makoron, but knowing the girl's family the ones in the drama were probably imported from France.
- I'll be using most of the Japanese family vocabulary for siblings(oniichan, oneechan, etc) in this series. Anything that doesn't sound right in English.
- This is what you get when putting Futarou's name into a dictionary(not a name dictionary):
風太郎ふうたろう Fuutarou
風太郎ぷうたろう
風太郎プーたろう
(n,col) vagabond; floater; vagrant; day labourer, esp. on the docks
Lol is this on purpose? Who knows.
- Futarou's name is most correctly romanized as Gamagoori Fuutarou. Since that looks horrible I'm changing it to Gamagori Futarou. The dramawiki people seem to have the same idea.
- The "sentence final particle", -zura, that a lot of people use in this drama is a dialect. Forgot exactly which one though. It's basically the same as the sentence final particle "yo". For example:
「きゃあるが鳴くから雨ズラよ～♪」
（蛙が鳴くから雨だろう)

I pay much more attention to the .ass version of the subs, the .srt are more of an after thought, so please use those.

This show sure is dark, huh? Not really used to subbing something like this. Kind of fun to have a change. I bet it's going to get really exciting after the first episode. Too much character introduction IMO.
