I thinks someone needs to do a thorough read through of the FAQ.
srt. files are SUBTITLE files, they are what you add onto the video file. If you're downloading the subs from Querbeets' Shibatora subs thread than you're not going to find the videos there.
Download the videos from here.
Then you add the subtitles onto the video by naming both the video and subtitles file the same and placing them in the same folder. But, honestly, FAQ is better at explaining this than I am. Go read it if you need help with anything.
