Hope I am not offending anyone and starting a 'storm' in here..

Heart-warming dramas are somehow not very popular with subbing groups. I see many subbing groups swarming to work on just one particular series,

It would be nice if they can spare a little time doing projects that arent that popular... like this one...

Actually I think the same, but fansubbers 'work' for free so they have the right to decide what they want to sub, even if it's something that's already being subbing by another person/group.

The only thing we can do is to wait for someone to have interest in this, though I don't think that will happen Crying

Hello.

The reason why I dropped this is because I studied engineering during that time. I gave a rough draft of episode 4 to Furransu before I dropped it though. Can't remember how much I did on it.

Also, this series is particularly hard since it has alot of kansai dialect, which makes it even harder to translate (which I didn't know when I picked it up at the first place).

I apologize to everyone who hoped to see more of this, but I'm not going to pick it up I'm afraid, even though I quit engineering and turned to Japanese studies again.

Ok, I uploaded the chinese subs for all 10 episodes. So at least some people can enjoy it. Here is the first set in unicode big5 and gb2312.

Sorry, I love to but no time at the moment, in August I spent a whole day solid and translated a Disney movie because no one had done it since film came out in 2007. It is quite a major undertaking to do a drama series and each drama really need a team of 10 people to make work much easier. So to do this, Hatachi no Koibito, would take about 20 man days of effort which is quite some time as one needs to listen to the conversation and do the translation at the same time and cross reference the kanji! Luckily with the Chinese translation the kansai dialect is going to be less problematic I stumbled on these chinese subs by accident, infact, I have not even download the video as yet! Let me get to see the first episodes first and see how good it is.
