Thanks everyone for understanding. I appreciate it.

I've always feared to come here to give updates or read my messages simply because I've heard lots of complaints from other translators regarding people insulting and begging/demanding for subs, but I'm glad Rookies fanbase isn't like that.

As we head towards the last few episodes, as always, yoroshiku onegaishimasu. *bows* Especially the fans here. With all your thanks, it has gave me the will to complete this drama. arigato gozaimasu. *bows*

As usual, the updates.

Our typesetter was extremely busy with work and hasn't been able to respond. But he's getting right on it this very moment. I hope to get the script back by Friday so we can start doing QC and my final check to fix every little problem.

I personally always thankful for all of the subbers for doing the sub, otherwise a non-Japanese speaker like me would not be able to enjoy this wonderful series and other series. Aarigato gozaimasu. *bows*

Rookies Ep08 hardsubs.

Rookies Ep09 is into QC right now. I should be able to do my final checks tomorrow and we should be releasing the softsubs soon after. Latest by Sunday.

Koji and Lunas said it very well already, but if I may add my 2 cents-

I hear many a horror story from sub teams about rabid fans screaming for "more-more-more!", and frankly understand the desire for immediate gratification (hey, we've grown up in a very "right now" world), but I think people tend to forget that the subbers that may seem superhuman to us are quite human too, and have things to do and are affected by things that also affect us. To do all that and still come through for us with virtually nothing in return- we should really be flooding this topic every day with "thank you"s! cheers

Sorry people!! I was doing my final QC of the script yesterday and it's not release quality. I'll have to take some time today to finish up things. I just spent a few hours yesterday searching for this stupid japanese idiom, and found the english equivalent for it. Please read the hardsub ending notes for the explanation if you want to know more! I hate Kawato's quotes.

I was kind of sick yesterday and took some medicine and slept early. Apparently during that 12 hours of sleeping, the whole world was trying to find me. LOL! Damn, can't a guy get some sleep for 1 night and not have the whole world in panic?

There are still a few more lines that need work, and I'm only half way through the script fixing stuff. So yeah, I hope to finish after work today. Smile

I especially like the way you guys keep us fans updated on how the subbing is going. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
