Synopsis

Fukada plays Mai Aida, a woman in her third year as an english teacher at a private all-girls high school. Due to declining enrollment, the school decides to admit its first male students. Those five freshmen initially feel they're in paradise, but the concerned Mai tries to help them adjust by creating a social dance club and inviting five girls. Those ten students become the focus of the drama, which is described as a story of love and adolescence.

I did not see any other topics on this, so I thought I would start one, since its one I'm going to watch because of kyoko. Not sure how the story will turn out, but the guy in the drama shosuke... I've seen in a lot of the dramas I have watched recently, so I'm looking foward to this one. He has always done a stellar job acting. So I'm hoping that this will get picked up by a fan subbing group this summer, or maybe someone will sub it on their own like suketeru-sama did with last friends. But I know this will not be the most popular series this season, so I shouldn't count on it, he he Laugh

lol, I wish I could translate, I would help the community in a minute. But my japanese sucks, I couldn't even sub a japanese children's show like pitagora switch.... But Whoever subs this, I will be behind them 100%. Well for now, I'm just going to watch it raw and post my comments here. I really hope you find someone, you were part of the mop girl subbing, right? I remember your name from somewhere....

lolololol, oh this series will be fun, no doubt! Thanks for the link. Man, kyoko looks so mature. Last time I saw her was yama onna... She was cute then, but she really looks like a teacher in this one. I'm looking forward to seeing more! I wonder will the boys be doing crazy stuff like that the whole series. Oh I know that would of been fun, lol.

The characters look great. there are 2 girls that I like immediately because they look quite hot. The girl in the middle and the girl all the way to the left on the relation chart.

Well the kanji pointing to keiko says the dance section (maybe club) is not approved. So I'm guessing she creates the dance club and invites the boys to join, but before she gets it cleared with the higher-ups. So I think the boys are to be the dance partners of the girls. In my personal experience when heterosexual males are in a sport/activity together with girls, things are much much much more fun Smile

in my experience of both track and dance, (great place to meet the ladies, just incase you wanted to know...) in dance its actually okay to touch the ladies... <nosebleed> But anyways I'm really liking the premise of the show. But it looks like kyoko will be fighting for the kids to keep the club which they hate at first but grow to love and the kids will be fighting against kyoko in whatever she says, lol.

I really want to hear kyoko speak english Smile

If she is the english teacher, I demand english speaking.

Well it starts tonight in japan... is anyone planning on watching the raws? It would seem no one has offered to help furransu with the subbing yet, so will anyone be watch the raws and posting their comments besides me?

I was thinking of passing this drama cause this season I picked too many to watch but... after visiting the site to get more info on the cast I saw that scene with the guys running naked chased by the girls and I decided I'll watch it after all! I love school comedies and Kyoko Fukada too much after all! (And there's Maeda Gouki too! He caught my eye in Gokusen with his blue highlights!)
I'll watch the first episode when I find the time. I would like to try subbing this but suddenly my summer became too busy to even consider! Driving lessons, studying for the uni, more studying for the Lvl 2 JLPT exam... Crying

Damn! I wanted to give fansubbing a try this summer and my schedule just won't let me! Cussing
