I actually found the encoding done by Kioku better than the 704X396 RAW file. The video on 704X396 RAW has some dark scenes (in the share house) which is not very visible. I don't seem to see this problem on the Kioku encoding.

Interesting ... so I will stick to the Kioku files.

go this from a *undisclosed* friend... but i have no idea where they got it from so I can only quote what they said and not lead you to the official message but here some info on why they are taking a bit longer to sub then usual Smile

This is just a short information about Last Friends progress.

Well right now we're a little slowed down due to a Translator's change of location to a pretty rural place and a part of Team being distracted by EURO 2008. *grin* But we're working on it. As we try to be as accurate as possible it takes a little more time for the Translations cause we let them check by japanese people.

We're planning a double release on 8 and 9 next week when our encoder's back from her business Trip around Tuesday and afterwards a soon release of 10.

Thank you very much to everyone for writing those nice comments even if we don't come back to all, we read them. Last friends is really a good drama and we're happy people enjoy watching it.

Yeah so that was the short update. Thank you for your patience.
