RECOMMENDED/FAVORITE KOREAN DRAMAS

I have a question: What have people thought of Fireworks (the K-Drama of the month)? I know I've heard opinions about it, but I can't remember if people said that they hated it or loved it. As I watch more dramas, I have less tolerance for shows that disappoint. I would prefer to not to start watching it without any idea of how it's going to turn out.

Title: 누구세요 / Who Are You?

Synopsis

Cha Seung Hyo is an abandoned child who gets adopted in the United States and grows up to be a cold hearted person. Son Il Gun is a father who died, but he left things unfinished with his daughter. In order to make sure that his daughter is provided for he controls Seung Hyo’s body for three hours a day for 49 days. He buys his daughter the things he couldn’t do when he was alive with Seung Hyo’s money. Il Gun’s daughter, Young In, is a quick-tempered girl who meets Seung Hyo during her part-time job. At first she has a bad impression of him but she gradually starts to fall for the lonely Seung Hyo who is unable to open up to anyone else because of his bitter past.

These are few that i've watched and the rating given out of 10 (how much i like it/ how i rate it)

Must Watch List
1. My sister in law is 19 (10/10)
2. Goong (10/9) the ending turned me off..but luckily it was the end
3. Time between dog and wolf (10/10)
4. Hong gil dong (9/9) ending was too quick.
5. Sassy girl Chun Hyang (10/10)
6. Coffee Prince (9 / Cool

the ending was not beautiful as expected from such a great drama
7. Bicsuit Teacher and Star Candy (8 / Cool

10. My Girl (10/9)
11. Snow queen (10/ Cool

bit slow.
12. Surgeon Bong Dal Hee (9/9)

Great story with HUGE BUT
1.Bad Love
half of the story towards the end was boring and slow
2.A love to kill
first half was very slow, last half was quick, story line doesn't evolved much..but the acting was soo good..and..i don't like the ending
3.Full House
funny, entertaining but repetitive.

Fantasy Couple was surprisingly fun ^-^

Who are you? with good actors and a good story thumright

for the rest.. 'til now I go with the must watch list from ekay ^-^ except the last *but only because I haven't watched it 'til now*

Watched quite a few dramas, especially within these past two years...would say personally that these were the ones that lost my interest or just didn't like...
-I'm Sorry, I Love You (it was quite dragging, and some of the supporting characters were getting annoying..perhaps I'll give it another try when I have time, but it wasn't all that realistic either...almost too dramatic for me)
-Que Sera Sera (could have gone without watching this one...)
-When Spring Comes (couldn't finish watching it, just lost interest but had some good parts here and there)

These were alright...there's potential, and then went downhill from there...or were amusing, but awkward (personal preference)
-Hello my teacher (aka Star Candy & Biscuit teacher)
-Marry a Millionaire (1st half was actually not so great, but 2nd half was better...the writing got a tad annoying)
-Taste Sweet Love (aka Snow White)
-Witch Yoo Hee (aka Witch Amusement)

Pretty decent dramas & enjoyed (though some annoying parts with how the story line went...)
-Delightful Girl Choon-hyang
-Full House
-The Man in the Vineyard (pretty good OST too!)
-9 end, 2 outs (pretty insightful drama, more about maturing)
-Sweet 18
-1% of Anything (dragged on alot towards the end...seemed to try to do too much)

Ones that enjoyed watching and were good...(this differs from above category, in terms of overall - acting, directing, script, scenary, etc)...
-Goong (had reservations about this drama initially, but it's quite addicting and very well implemented)
-1st Shop of the Coffee Prince
-My Name is Kim Sam Soon (great script and acting)
-Hong Gil Dong (awesome acting! directing was good, it was like there were two different people shooting at times. some story lines that got rather repetitive and artificial, was fun to watch)
-My Girl (was little dragging in the character development in the beginning, but pretty good overall. writing was quite good)
-Lovers in Paris

Currently watching...
-I Really Really Like You
-Red Bean Bread (aka Sweet Buns)
-Three Dads and One Mom

best drama that all of u should watch:

1. All In(some of my friend said that it was boring but i think it is awesome and pretty good..)
2.Stairway to heaven( very sad drama)
3.Snow Queen(really sad...and enjoy)
4. my girl..(comedy and romance was good)
5.full house(great!)
6.into the sun(maybe most of you didn't watch it..but it was really funny comedy and great chemstry between the hero..kwon sang woo and...)
7.time between dog and wolf(really really amazing..i never expect this drama will turn very very best among the best..packed of action and thriller..and also unpredictable plot..the cast also amazing..lee jun ki and nam sang mi..i never boring to watch this til the end..highly recommended..but people who dislike cruel and ferocious action maybe hate this drama..)

and now i want to watch hong gil dong..so many people said this drama was pretty good..so i want to take a try...enjoy!!!!

MUST WATCH

-My Lovely Kim Sam Soon- my first korean drama. but not on this list because it is my first but because it is romantic, FUNNY and with a great plot. Plus the characters/actor/actresses are phenominal. Not long and draggy but not too fast. great one must watch!

-The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince- absolutely funny, cute and romantic. Very original plot and characters. The actors/actresses are so genuine and real. Very funny people in it plus a great ending! Not too draggy as well

-You are My Destiny- Cute and funny with a good plot. It's a sitcom so it's like 100+ episodes, but don't let that scare you. You'll want it to never end. EVER. A newbie actress but very genuine and not fake. Good plot and great looking guys Whistling

HEHE.

-My Girl- Very original plot as well. The girl and the guy are the perfect couple. Great storyline and not too draggy. 16 episodes. Really funny and cute as well. Great ending and well deserveed to be on this list!.

Autumn Tale- OHMYGOD. this is definetly one of my favorites. Be ready to get your tissues ready. This is SOOO romantic and very sad. It's just the perfect length. Very original script and nothing corny. Not the cutsey-type. Very hihg maturity level. SO SAD yet romantic. yeah i already said that. But the couple have great chemistry!
well written story. SAD SAD ending.

-Spring Waltz- oOH! GReat drama. Love the plot and the characters. Very romantic and somewhat sad. DANIEL HENNEY IS IN IT! I shouldn't have to say anymore. LOL but yeah it's a great storyline with very good actors. Not too draggy or long.

I just finished watch My Name is Kim Sam Soon / My Lovely Kim Sam Soon .... Really2 nice drama ... I think this type of drama is quite equal to My Girl .... Very2 love these 2 Dramas ..... Can someone recommend me any drama that is equal to these 2 Drama (MNIKSS and My Girl) ?? .... Thank you for your help .... Really2 love romantic comedy drama and phenomenal chemistry btwn the actor and the actress .... thanx

Recommended:
The Invisible Man (I rarely cry over a drama, but this one was so strong and well acted that I had no other choice but care about the characters.)

Who are you? (If you manage to survive the first 4 episodes, a predictable plot... and Go Ara's performance. This drama is saved by the three male leads and the supporting cast.)

3 Dads 1 Mom (This drama has a lot to offer, even if some parts seem to be superflous. But that's only on first glance. Looking closer, you'll see some powerplay within a group of males, and how the ranking structure works amongst friends. It also has many cute scenes with guys&babies in it... and the writers keep you on tenterhooks until the very last minute of the drama!)

18 vs. 29 (Sometimes, I want to smack the female lead... Ryu Su Yeong impressed me a lot in this drama.)

Sang Doo, Let's go to school

9 end, 2 outs (When friendship turns into love... )

30.000 Miles in Search for my son (Some excellent acting by the male lead, and even if there are a handful of weak segments and cliched in this show, Lee Hoon's portrayal of the eldest son who's despised by his stepmother, belittled by her and his father and ultimately hated by his step brother is both heart wrenching and excellently executed, just like him slowly claiming back his self esteem when the mother forces him to become a "good father".)

i greatly recommend HIT if ure a fan of mystery dramas like me !
its so great that i've watched it twice in a row and i couldnt get enough of it , how i wish thr'll be a season 2 ! especially the 2 main characters look so great together ,

anyone know of any dramas that are like HIT and are of mystery type do recommend to me ! i'll love to watch them as im a big fan of such genre .

goong was quite a waste as thr wont be goong 2 [ showing their future kid n so ] because the 2 actors [ the prince & wife ] has now rose into a very highly sought after actor and actress and the original director couldnt afford to employ them anymore , a waste isnt it !
