assuming you've already given all your files the same name, try to explicitly tell your player the subs file. if you're using VLC, go to Preferences -> Video -> Subtitles.

I don't know why, VLC does that to me too sometimes, not always O__O

yeah im having the same problem too^ cept that didnt work.

maybe a different player but i have a mac and not many players go with macs. this sucks cuz i freaking love last friends.

try putting the .srt file into a word editor of some kind (notepad equiv, sorry, not sure what comes with macs...) and deleting the first two empty timestamps.

then save and try loading it with the video. no guarantees it will work.. but it might Smile

Thank you all for answering. I indeed use VLC and this is the first time it happens for me.

I tried to use the advanced player for the subs but no results....

I'm gonna cry soon because I want to understand....... Crying

Please, any suggestions ? Sad

VLC works perfectly for mac too. (cos i own one and i managed to play it).
go preferences>video>subtitles/OSD
then click browse and select the subtitle file (:

works perfectly...

yeah, i use vlc for mac too...and it works ok..well, except for a few delays on the vid, but it's ok. Smile

I'm using Mplayer for playback on my Mac (intel). It works better than VLC in my opinion, but this is just my opinion. Smile

managed to get this one out relatively quickly since there was a lot less dialogue than normal. (not to mention i wanted to get translating out of the way so i could do other things this weekend)

btw, there's a line in the preview about someone's existence... i'm not too sure in what context that's in.. so incase you don't get it.. well... i don't really either! lol
