Why were all the names translated to China in the subs? Quite annoying

What the hell is Zhong, Zhao, Cui, Fong? It's really quite annoying...really

it is annoying? maybe, but worth you posting twice in 5 minutes about the same issue? probably not. i can understand your frustration, but rather than double post, please just edit your previous post.

if you read through some of the comments in this thread, you would realize that the reason the subs have chinese names is because they are subs from the chinese release. why? the english subs are from the YAE release. and anything having to do with YAE licensed dramas is not allowed here at this site. if you want subs with their Korean names, either try other sites or buy the series from YesAsia.

i know its a pain in the arse to have chinese names for korean names, even if its in english.but afterall, its subbed in mainland china [or other places]

the series as you well know, like other films and drama's, get released very early, mainly from chinese sorces 1st before moving over to mainstream which is a couple of years later. if you're on holiday somewhere in asia, you can pick up a cheap dvd original or dvd copy floating around the markets of malaysia or philippines. you could try thailand too, but i would asume this hasnt got english/malay/pinoy subs. and has poor quality VCD too.
for info, i picked this up twice in Cebu, philippines. one for me, one for my mate. the malaysian version [which is covered in chinese writing] cost me £16. even with bargining. yesasia's malay version cost more so i was happy with £16. the other time i bought the set of only 3 disks [all episodes compressed, no DVD box], cost me £5. again, i can't complain about the price. hardly worth bartering
