Has somebody the same problem? is there other way to get the movie??

Rainbow Song was okay. Couple out of place or odd moments...
Hidden:
Throughout the movie I kept thinking...when is this guy going to crack...I've heard of holding in emotions before but damn. Finally at the end he did, but it wasn't dramatic enough to fit in with the whole movie building up to it. I've never seen the lead actor before(not that I remember) and he wasn't great, but Juri was good~

Yeah, he sure held it in for a long time... I guess he was as unsure about his feelings for Aoi as she did for him until the end... So unbelievably sad.
What did think about the part called "The Girlfriend?" I thought it was totally out of place for the movie and altered the tone of the movie... It should've been edited out, IMIO.

Yeah that part was really strange. The girl really got on my nerves haha. The thing with the "Can I borrow your phone?" then it rings at her heart lmao. It did feel out of place.

I just finished Rainbow Song too! Thanks for the bit torrent link...proud to own a copy of the DVD to this movie!

I gotta say this was a decently enjoyable film. Really beautiful in how it critiqued and dramatized the reality of the film industry (struggling film students, hard working, under-respected PAs and crazy, dramatic directors). All of which i can kind of relate to. Really enjoyed the traditional, old school cameras and the process of editing of film. Despite this film being a quite sad one...I felt particularly sorry for Juri (Aoi) throughout the film. As usual, Juri did an amazing job and she looked so graceful and and natural...whether it was as a demanding director, an obligated extra in a student film, a caring sister, a guarded tough chick, or a girl who's heart was broken...she sold it.
I loved how this film was frustrating, yet well done. I agree that the "girlfriend" part was a bit odd, but I guess it was there to show how inexperienced this guy was with girls, his feelings and how he totally missed out on the perfect girl! He totally deserves a stalking, psychotic, and old woman!!! On the other hand I loved how Aoi's sister was the most clear-sighted person, despite her lack of physical sight. And I totally loved how they showed the "End of the World" movie, it was so incredibly bad (like a typical college student film), yet so enjoyable because we see the fruit of their hard work and underlying emotions for each other...or maybe not ;-)
I admit that tears welted in my eyelids at the last scene where the guy finally breaks down...but I think I felt even more sorry for Aoi...because she made tons of effort, yet was blown off/rejected/suffered by this guy. Well then...guess I'll go listen to Utada Hikaru's "虹色バス" aka "Rainbow Bus" from her new album to cheer me up because it sings about rainbows....

Really good observations...

I guess because it was Juri-chan who dies in the plane crash, I felt depressed and sad from the get-go... I suppose if it were Kishida who died, I wouldn't have felt as emotionally connected... Guess that makes me a fanboy, ne?
Yeah, the closing scene in Aoi's bedroom was a tough one: hard to not get choked up watching that...

Finally, I could watch RAinbow Song
Hidden:
I liked it (actually, I love dramas) even some parts were a little "slow". Ueno does her role excellent! It was a pity that Kishida didn't realise about Aoi's feelings when she said that she wouldn't go to LA if the one she loved asked her.
Totally agree about "The girlfriend" part. She was crazy. At first, when I saw the part of the cellphone to ring her heart in the date I thought "maybe she wants to be original..." but no, she is insane.
Also, poor Aoi when nobody chooses her in the date-party, I thought that Kishida would do sth!!
The end of the movie... too sad but good!

New recruit reporting in~
Don't mind me joining in the cult right? I've always been a casual fan but more on an obsessed side lately because of obvious reasons. After watching Kagayaku Onna, I'm definitely a big fan. Too bad the subs had a lot of inaccuracies in the translations though. I guess I'll share about my thoughts on it later after I go through the pages here. ^^
Btw, I'm still looking for more Juri-sama's related videos. Any websites/forum with great resources would be nice. I got a few vids from here.

Really? Inaccuracies??
If you have specifics, I'll clean 'em up since I did the proofread/edit for the subs...

Yeah, I might not be able to translate word by word but I'll try and come out with the gist at least. Maybe this weekend yeah? ^^ Some of the inaccuracies are totally off base since the wordings do sound alike and I get how the translator could get it wrong. Nothing wrong with the language though. You did good. =)

Which ones do you have/have watched already?
Really not that many. Kagayaku Onna, Jounetsu Tairiku and Earth Odyssey for those docu types. Drama, Nodame, Last Friends, Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi and Lost Time Life. Movie, just recently downloaded Summer Time Machine Blues but haven't watch yet. Plus all the LF promo/interview vids. The more I watch, the more I fall in love.

What about Swing Girls? That's a must see.
STMB is quite good, though it might have you confused and frustrated at the beginning... But I think it rewards you for your patience.
And if you look a page or so back, there's a torrent link for Rainbow Song... It's pretty good, albeit tragic and sad.
