Welcome to May 2008's Unofficial Wuxia Series of the Month (WSoTM) Poll.

As the name implies, the WSoTM is dedicated to seeding completed Wuxia drama series with ENGLISH subs. Note that WSotM is not official yet. This poll is intended to be a test run. At the moment, I will be responsible for the seeding of the selected WSotM.

Swordplay novels by Jin Yong (aka Louis Cha) have been adapted into numerous TV series and films. Sword Stained with Royal Blood is no exception. Mainland Chinese director Zhang Jizhong, after turning a few Jin Yong novels into well-received TV series, adapts Sword Stained With Royal Blood into an intriguing swordplay drama, with more historical elements added compared to previous versions. Singer/actor Bobby Dou stars as Yuan Chengzhi, son of a general who has been killed by the emperor. He comes across a beautiful girl named Qingqing, portrayed by Eva Huang from Kungfu Hustle, and they embark on exciting adventures together, with Yuan still bearing in mind his desire to avenge his father's death. Yang Ye, a former general of the Northern Han dynasty, surrendered to the Song dynasty and helped the Song unify China. He quickly rose up the ranks and became a veteran general of the Song due to his merit in defending the north from the Liaos, which invited envy from Prime Minister Pan Renmei. Pan Renmei tried to discredit Yang Ye as opportunities arose, but to no avail.

Upon the death of Pan Bao, Pan Renmei tried to seek his revenge, even collaborating with Yiyun, a spy of Liao. Pan Renmei accused Yang Ye of conspiring with the Liao with a false missive. However, even this attempt was thwarted as Yiyun loved Yang Ye's fifth son, Wulang, who saved her life earlier. Yiyun chose to die and put the blame upon herself to explicate the Yangs. The Emperor resolved the conflict by allowing the Yangs to fight the Liao to prove their innocence as the Liaos had encroached the northern area of the Songs.

i have seen them all, but warriors of the yang clan is my favorite among these shows.
I like demi god semi devil too, but the later version.
