| @Illanair: Same here. I followed the Audacity tutorial for 'karaoke' versions of songs, but alas the way most of them have been mixed, it also leaves out alot of other things as well.

| Have you tried Sound Forge? A friend of mine managed to remove vocals using that program (SONY), though there were some faint vocals left. This was two years ago. For all I know, this can only be done using original CDs.
