Hello all. =]
Can anyone recommend good dramas for the older, middle-aged audience? Preferably Japanese dramas, but Korean dramas are fine.
Please and thank you. <3

Hi all
Hi Zu.
I'm also interested in Japanese dramas too. Would also like some ideas as to which ones they would recommend we watch.
What type of dramas do you like Zu?
I like good comedy, romance, and horror dramas or movies.

| I reccomend Beautiful Life..with Kimura Takuya and Tokiwa Takako. It's always been one of my favourites. Also, Aishiteru to Itte kure is good. That has Tokiwa Takako in it too. Enjoy!

I'm not sure if the following dramas have English subtitles, but I'd recommend Jigoku no Sata mo Yome Shidai. It uses the typical Japanese mother-in-law vs daughter genre.

Another good one is Hanayome wa Yakudoshi, which is about a women reporter who goes undercover by pretending to be the fiance of a man who was raised on a farm. Mother-in-law from hell in this one, too.

Jukunen Rikon.
Really, really good drama that appeals to a more mature audience and discusses a theme (divorce after retirement) that middle-aged or older couples in Japan face._________________ See my current DramaWiki editing projects here.

| Alone In Love seemed targeted at an older audience than most KDramas I've seen.

One dorama that I really enjoyed was Karei-naru Ichizoku.

Personally I think it's the best drama I have seen out of all the korean, japanese, or taiwainese dramas I have watched. The storyline is well developed and Kimura Takuya does an excellent job portraying his character.
S-projects did the subbing for this series, but their site is no longer up. You can dl the subs from here instead
