I think Angela looks a bit too young to be pregnant I had expected a kiss too...they had one in the original comic didn't they? Other than that the ending was really cute
And I agree with everyone on how pretty Angela is in normal clothe..it was simply "whoa!"....Her brazilian blood gave her a very exotic look

I just finished watching the finale and it was such a cute episode! I really liked the ending:

I thought the trainer would start something with the chairperson though, I guess he'll always secretly be in love with her haha. And I also love Yamada boxing with his hair pinned up, so adorable! I loved the scene when Angela surprised Kousaku before his match, and how he walked off into the light. Too bad no kiss though.

Just out of curiosity, was their anyone who was disappointed by the ending or the series as a whole? Not that it was necessarily terrible, but still, did anyone feel it didn't deliver the way it could have?

It was reasonably alright..I mean i didn't expected a dramatic ending so it didn't go out of my expectation too much.....I was more disapppointed with the champion fight in ep 8 though...it was meant to be climatic but it simply wasn't...the fight was won too easily

I finished this drama..just now...and I do agree with you guys... the fight scene was like..Kousaku prepared for it for like almost 2 eps? then that's it? the preparation was longer than the fight!
I guess boxochocolate is right.. it focused more on the love story.. too bad...
this is not one of best jdorama around.. but the ending was surprisingly cute =D
1st jdorama I saw wherein the characters got Married

I think in pretty much every episode of 1 Pound, they've played this song. It starts out a capella with the lyrics "Even if I lose my way, you lead me with light of heaven". Every time I google the lyrics, it comes up with some Japanese blog that only has those two lines and nothing about the actual song.
It's always stuck in my head and it's really starting to piss me off because I don't know the rest.

anyways, i wanna comment too..
i watched this drama right after iv finished tatta hitotsu no koi, and i was like wow.. i mean the roles (kame's roles) were totally different.. i was crying ..then laughing.. kame's funny in this one.. while in THNK he was really serious yet cool..
thats just it for now, ill just comment again after i finish it..
