| Da Mo refers to The Lady Detective Of Chosun Dynasty. The story took place in South Korea in the 16th century, females working as servants for the royalty were given investigation authority to probe into cases. These authorized female detectives were given the identity "Da Mo".

I dont know if im correct.. but the words 茶母 in chinese mean, tea female/lady, so im guessing it means tea servant.. she was a tea servant in the show.

Damo literally means "tea servant." They used the same title to refer to women employed by the police force.

| What version does the subtitle go along with? Is it the 350MB or 700MB?

hmm, read the 1st post...
The subs here sync only to the DVDRip (700MB) of the U.S. DVD BoxSet which is the version on our tracker.
The subtitles don't sync to any rips from korean DVDs (e.g. JOG version) or any TVRips (e.g. LUXURY version).
You have to re-time it for the other version yourself. If you do so, then please upload those re-timed subs here. Thanks.

the Damo torrents here at d-addicts are dead? I just checked them and all of them (i'm referring to Damo KOR/ENG) seem to be active. Except for episode 8, all of them has at least one seed.
It has been a long time since I watched this drama, but I did use the subtitle batch attached on the first post for the Damo KOR/ENG that I got off d-addicts tracker. I really can't remember having any problems with them.
