With Love [01-12+OST] [Complete]

This series was originally encoded and uploaded by Emi801 (and I have her permission to upload this batch torrent). I re-encoded the files from mpg format using Dr. Divx. You can get the divx player here.

I am also seeding the original files that she uploaded until all the current downloads are complete at which time she will remove them and leave only the batch torrent.

Here is episode 1 of the jdrama 'With Love', starring Takenouchi Yutaka and Tanaka Misato.

Basically it is like a Japanese version of the movie 'You've Got Mail' except the story has a much slower pace and is a bit more serious. Yutaka plays a cool, talented commercial music composer and Misato plays a reserved, almost shy bank employee. They meet online when he emails her a music clip by mistake. The music really touches her, and she begins to write him back. They eventually start a dialog of emails back and forth, not realizing that they have met in real life.

I enjoy this show a lot, but I know some people can't handle the slow pace, as it really takes its time to tell the story ^_^;;

Anyway, I encoded this to .mpg myself from VHS tapes I borrowed from a friend... the episodes are English hardsubbed and were originally recorded when the series was broadcast on the International Channel, so there is the International Channel logo in the bottom left corner the whole time. I am not good at judging video quality, but I guess it would be about a B or B-?

This is the first time I have ever tried encoding anything, so I am still trying to figure it all out. I am sorry about the file sizes... Episode 1 is between 500-600M while the eps 2-3 I have also done are around 450M each. Here is episode 1, if there is interest in the show, I will go ahead and encode and post the rest of it, so please comment below if you'd like me to continue! Thanks!

Edit: oh, I forgot to mention.... the audio for the first minute and a half is kind of low, but then it kicks back up to normal. This happened on my vhs version too ^^;

This is a .mpg with hard english subs encoded from VHS that was recorded when With Love was aired subbed on the International Channel. These eps are my first attempt at encoding anything, much less a whole series from VHS ^^ It has been an interesting learning experience!

Okay, here is episode 6 of With Love.

This episode has some audio problems in it. There is no audio for the first few seconds, and then again for a few minutes in the middle of the episode. However the subtitles and video are still fine, so you can still follow what is going on. The next episode preview also has no audio.

This is a problem with my original VHS source, so there isn't much I can do about it ^_^;; Just wanted to warn y'all ahead of time!

Yay, the last episode of With Love! Finally! I hope everyone enjoys it. I had fun with this series, and it helped me learn a lot about encoding stuff. Now I will have to dig through these boxes of dorama vhs I have sitting here, and see what I can try to do next pinch pinch

Yes this series is hardsubbed in English. It was originally broadcast with the subtitles.

This was my first j-dorama, so it has a special place in my heart. I discovered it while flipping past the International Channel. It's also special because it introduced me to one of my favorite groups, My Little Lover. The moment I heard the opening song "Destiny" I was hooked.

Enjoy a great drama!

i already have the ,peg version. i downloaded it in 2003 i think. is the quality much beter compared to the mpg one. is it worth for me to download this bcos it has clearer version of yutaka?

This is a re-encode of the original mpeg version that Emi801 uploaded a few years ago. The quality would therefore be the same as what she uploaded. The difference is that this set is about a third the size of the original and should be playable on any divx-compatible device. In other words you could burn all of the files in this batch to a dvd and play it in your dvd player on your TV.

I love this series, I wouldn't mind a DVD quality version at some point either.

And then the ending wouldn't be cut off... :/

I would love to get my hands on a DVD quality version. However, I have searched quite a bit and have never found anything other than recordings off VHS...... Sad

I think the only chance we'd have is if the original company in Japan were to make a set, and I have no idea what the chances are for that happening or if it might have already happened.... I know I've never found one for sale, unlike some of the other series.

Nice love story drama... dun really mind the quality of the fles. Aniwae wanna ask does any1 have the music from this drama which i cant find it in the OST, the music is in episode 11 at ard the timing 06.28 - 07.59? its a very nice jazzy music n its not in the OST provided. Does any1 know / have it? thks in advance...
