All the nominees from the last poll are looking pretty decently seeded, so I've replaced them with a new field of contenders.
Please remember that if you want to see more variety in the polls, it helps to volunteer to seed a series from the JSoTW Volunteer Seeders Thread. The more ppl who sign up, the more choices we have when it comes time to select the nominees.
This time, I chose a couple popular older series which haven't been featured in quite awhile... And then I added "To Heart," after watching the Domoto Kyoudai episode where it was mentioned. (Yes, indeed, "Ai wa powaa da yo!" is quite possibly the most embarrassing line to either say or respond to even somewhat seriously.)
Oh, and to those who celebrate it, Happy Easter!
Without further ado, here are the next contenders!
Many thanks go out to those seeding the current JSoTW (Ashita no Kita Yoshio). Thank you for your support!
Rules for nominating JSoTWs:
* Please nominate dramas found in the JSoTW Volunteer Seeders Thread
* Nominate only Japanese dramas with English subtitles
* Do not nominate a series that has already been nominated twice
* Only nominate a series if 1 or more episodes have zero seeds

What is the Japanese Series of the Week (SoTW)? More Info Here
Hidden:
Due to the substantial number of torrents on this site, we implemented a "Series of the Week," where we could dedicate bandwidth and seeding efforts to a specific series. This helps in several ways:
1. People will know which series was voted and will be seeded, rather than just waiting and hoping for them to be seeded at some later date.
2. For those seeders who have DVD burners and have already burnt their collections to DVD/CD, the series of the week gives them an opportunity to dust off those archives and help seed their favorites.
3. Constantly re-circulates older torrents back into view, and focuses bandwidth and demand toward specific torrents, rather than having people request series across the board.
Remember, D-Addicts was started for the community, and being a part of the community means sharing. If you don't share, then everyone loses (refer to JEM's dropping of cdramas). Bittorrent and DA works much better if you share as others have shared with you.
If you are willing to seed any of the series in the poll, please post a reply here or in the JSoTW: Looking For Volunteer Seeders thread or PM anyone of the mods or admins. There are still several series which do not have volunteer seeders, so any help would be greatly appreciated! The more seeders we have, the more variety we will have in future JSoTW polls!
Reminder: You must have at least 10 posts to vote. Don't start spamming the forum, but this encourages you to get involved in some of those drama discussions!

ugh. I have to agree it's hard and I've not seen any of these dramas, but I don't think any of them sound interesting. Too much romance, bleh. I vote for Star in the hopes it at least has a few laughs.

I have seen all four of these, they're all good and interesting, I could recommend all of them -- but all 4 of these are especially romantic! If you hate romance you will not get into any of these!
Some are more serious than others, but Sutaa no Koi has comedy situations - and it's one of my favorite dorama ever! The two leads in this are perfectly cast, and the song on the credits is an electro cover of a 60s Motown song by Globe - how cool is that?
Some would say To Heart is a reason to fall in love with Fukada... and Kinki Kids' Tsuyo-chan is there too you're into the male idols.

Congratulations to Star no Koi for winning the poll this week.
As always, remember to keep the previous SoTW, Ashita no Kita Yoshio seeded for as long as possible to help out those on slower lines. Also, thanks again to all the seeders who make this effort possible!
