oh noes.. i guess there wont be anymore kiina subs Sad

unless you guys find another solution such as hardsubbing your work or simply ignoring the streaming sites -_-

because the stream sites they don't care about the subbers and won't remove the videos.. j-drama fansubbing is doomed it seems.. :S

most of the fansubbers are used to and have adapted to the stream sites situation. i think now fansubbers should learn about these stream sites problems and decide whether they would like to get used to it or simply avoid it before planning on to sub.

I've never really understood how hardsubbing eliminates the problem of dramas
getting put on streaming sites. I can't imagine that a warning to not stream the
file in the subs would stop someone from doing it. (They could also just edit out
the warning.) I also find it extremely rare to not see a subbed jdrama end up on
ebay. Yes it's digusting that someone is trying to make a buck from someone else's
work but no matter what you do, there's always some scumbag ready to take
advantage of you.

I hope the subbers are more focused on the majority of people who truly
appreciate what they are doing and thankful for their work.

I am biased for soft-subs since I can control the size, color and hence,
the readability of the subs. But whatever the form I am grately that there
are subbers that allow me the experience of enjoying Japanese TV shows.

with hardsubs, at least the stream sites uploaders wont be able to edit the sub and take out the credits..

most fansubbers now take the option of hardsubbing and releasing the softsubs later on.. i think its a good approach for fansubbers to protect their work, given that they have given up with all the stream sites issues Smile
