Snow White/Taste Sweet Love

Synopsis

Ma Young-Hee (Kim Jung Hwa) has been in love with her best friend Han Jin-Woo (Yeon Jung Hoon) since the first time they met in high school. Han Jin-Woo, on the other hand, does not see Ma Young-Hee's love for him and blindly goes out with other girls in front of Ma Young-Hee. On a trip to Japan, Young-Hee meets a young man on the street who takes her back to his apartment since she is drunk. Young-Hee accuses this man of raping her even though he didn't, but before she can rightfully press charges, he runs away as the government officials of Japan chase him down for an expired visa. Upon returning to Korea, Jin-Woo stops by her apartment and introduces his younger brother, Han Sun-Woo (Lee Wan) who just happens to be the young man she met in Japan. Jin-Woo asks if Sun-woo may stay at her place, and Young-hee accepts out of love for Jin-Woo. The story unfolds as a sudden high school classmate of Young-Hee, Jang Hee-Won, (Oh Seung Hyun), begins to court Jin-Woo.

I can't believe this drama doesn't have a topic here. It's pretty old too. But the again it doesn't seem that popular. If not for Full House (which aired right after) this could have been really something. Personally I think Show White is better than Full House though Lee Wan (no matter how hot) still cannot win Rain xD Dunno if I had watched Snow White first I would have maybe preferred Lee Wan over Rain.

Well. The plot is your usual romantic comedy. Nothing new, nothing different. Yet it's entertaining. Maybe because acting ia really good and chemistry between characters is great. I love the main casting. They all do great job and they all look good. Though this drama is one of those wtf fashion dramas. I can't believe that all the lame clothes would have been fashionable at that time... Only Sun-woo and Minako used decent clothes. Though Sun-Woo surprised me many times too.

This drama is funny and very sweet. I have seen many similar dramas before but I liked this one a lot. It didn't bore me to death. I suggest you watch the first half then take a break for a week or two and then watch the second half. This way you won't be bored at all. OST is catchy and funny. Plot is realistic enough. But it's really annoying when characters have to go to hospital because of one scratch.
