Years ago a brave and prominent fireman Miu Cheng stepped down from his risky yet meaningful job because he could never get over his wife's death in a fierce fire. His son Miu Chi-shou (Joseph Chang), brought up by Miu Cheng alone, never knows his family history. However, the will to protect people from fire may be inherent - Chi-shou also regards fireman as his career like his dad. In an operation he meets Jia-jia (Ady An), a cute but rather careless news anchor, and the two fall in love. Chi-shou's colleague (Lan Cheng Long) originally sees Chi-shou as competitor, but amazingly they become real good friends after an accident.
