This is so hilarious. After watching 14 Sai no Haha, didn't know that Shida Mirai also had a comic tendency within her. She's great and I feel bad for her whenever she's abused by her sister. Oh and another Kanata Hongo drama. I feel this is already a must watch drama this season . It's so unique Thanks Massuki for taking on this project. Can't wait for more.
Have a question:
what does Ishikari Kumako mean? It didn't have translation notes and I would like to know why the book had that name on it._________________

Sorry, I wasn't checking this thread and didn't notice.
Her sister calls her Kumako.
Kumako - Kuma means bear ; Ko means child and it's a popular second kanji character for girls like Haruko (the mom) Makiko (the sister) and Youko.
Ishikari - is made up of two characters which means stone and hunting, it is also a name of a place in Japan. I am not very sure about the relationship of the two words.

Let me put it in here too, posted it in my softsub topic already.
The Ishikari Mountains are known for their (endangered) brown bears.
It's in Hokkaido. When you think of Ishikari, you think of bears.
There are also sometimes incidents where bears there go to places where they shouldn't go.. and scare people.. but that might be too much info.. ^^
Btw. great that you seem to keep on working on the drama.
