I have watched many Korean dramas as well as many Korean movies. The same question has always crossed my mind, what is the significance of first love? You can see it in My Name is Kim Sam Soon where being someone's first love is used as a comeback because it is supposed to be very threatening. In other dramas, first love usually means a couple is fated to be together. I have my own conclusions but I would really like to see what you all think on the subject. Why is first love portrayed as so important in korean dramas? what does first love mean to you?
